Why Travelercon is gonna be important

So, we all know that Thurzidun is trying to come back through the Divine Gate (that was the name, right?), and that the last time he was fought, Thurzidun managed to injure a god before he was finally locked away. Now, we know he is coming back, and those same gods are currently on the other side of the gate. That leaves us with the question of how The Mighty Nein are gonna be able to battle off an entity that dealt such a bad blow to deities? I think, if The Traveler really is Artegan (or someone else) trying to ascend to godhood, and not Thurzidun himself, that The Traveler is gonna play a major role in fending off the threat of Thurzidun. Having someone equal to god level is going to be a major help in fending off Thurzidun. But in order to do so, he needs to ascend. So if Travelercon isn’t the ascension itself, it will be where The Traveler reveals what he needs in order to ascend. The latter of which would make for an excellent quest objective for The Mighty Nein to have to handle if these Peace Talks somehow manage to succeed while Thurzidun’s forces continue to try to poke holes in reality. or maybe they are gonna have to juggle that, continuing war, AND Thurzidun’s other followers trying to unpin their deity if the Peace Talks Fail. In any case, The Mighty Nein look like they are gonna have to attempt quite the acrobatic show to handle all these plot points coming their way. I cannot wait to see how they handle it all.
