I attempted a lot with this sculpt - action pose, "floating" effect, glow paint details, and a light-up resin "portal" base. It was, perhaps, too much, but I've never been one for self-restraint in my art.

I was a Ninja Turtles kid, and over the summer my eldest and I connected over the two latest series. While her preference is for the 2012 series, the 2018 ROTTMNT hit something in my art/animation loving heart, especially the movie, and resulted in this fan art of Future Leonardo.
Swords are really, really fun to sculpt.
The release yesterday of cut footage has me itching to create more of the future cast, but it will have to wait until my commission season is done. Alas!
Happy Monday - here’s our latest Kobold Paladin progress! With the clothes finished, I can focus on the most fun part of any sculpture - miniature weapons!
Oh boy oh boy oh boy, today I'm starting a new kobold!
Meet the pyromancer, cryomancer, and thief, part of the main cast of Kobold Adventures! Furry artist Nyhgault will be traveling to conventions promoting the new table top game, and these figures will go with him.
Today I'll be starting on the fourth figure, the paladin! They have a lot of great armor details that I'm excited to obsess over. Expect lots of process photos in the next few days!
Folks, I promise I am still alive, just consumed by holiday commissions, and social media is always the first thing to suffer. Be back soon!
