Ruhun Duymaz

A series from Turkey that touched my heart after a long time. It's not that the plot was particularly groundbreaking, but something about it just really drew me in. Onur and Ece had such great chemistry — finally, it’s not just another rom-com between a company owner and his assistant, as they so often like to do in Turkey. I liked most of the cast too; I even grew fond of Civan — the guy was actually quite likeable at times.

If all the storylines had been properly wrapped up, I wouldn't have hesitated to give it a high rating, because I genuinely enjoyed it all the way up to the finale. But the early end of production, unfortunately, shows — and that was disappointing. On the other hand, I still think it was absolutely worth watching.

But I've already got a story in my head about how it would all go eventually, so maybe I'll write additional closure myself. Well, it wouldn't be the first time...
