To all of you gardeners out there here is something eco friendly thing you can do if you ever need to cut down or trim a tree or hedge. Instead of burning or throwing the waste in a wood chipper you can make what's called a deadwood hedge

You lay the largest branches on the bottom and then weave the smaller branches into it eventually making a hedge.

This particular one I made is from a laurel hedge and I'm sure a lot of people can to better than me but it still looks pretty good but is amazing for the environment as any small animals such as birds, snakes and hedgehogs use them for shelter and protection from predators as well as providing a barrier against roads keeping them from going into them
