Anyone else craving Ecto Cooler? Good news, I made it into a milkshake.

Recipe under the cut!

For the Milkshake: 3 oz. Orange Sherbet 3 oz. Tangerine Sherbet 1.5 oz. Vanilla Ice Cream 1/3 c. Milk 1/4 tsp Orange Kool-Aid Powder (start with a 1/4 tsp and add more to taste) Enough Green Food Coloring to Kill a Man

For the Ectoplasm Drizzle:

1/3 c. Lemon Juice 1/4 c. + 2 T Sugar 1 Egg Yet More Green Food Coloring

Instructions:

Beat the egg slightly and allow it to warm to room temperature. Mix lemon juice and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat until the sugar is melted. Add into the egg a little at a time while stirring constantly. Once it's all mixed into the egg, return to the pan and cook until thick and bubbling. Add food coloring and remove from heat. Refrigerate at least one hour, then transfer to a piping bag while you blend the milkshake.

Add all milkshake ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Add green food coloring until it reaches the correct shade.

Add drizzle to the inside of glass and pour in the milkshake. Top with whipped cream and more of the ectoplasm.

Shove a straw in and go watch Ghostbusters.

You can also use green gel icing if you prefer - it has the exact same consistency, it just won’t taste as nice.
