I don’t think there will ever come a time when I will be ‘ready’ to face change. The truth is that if I continue to wait for that ‘magic moment’, that feeling of complete ‘readiness’, I fear that I will be waiting for the rest of my life for a thing that does not exist... But what if it’s not actually about being ‘ready’ to change? What if the ‘key’/ ‘answer’ has been here all along?

Maybe instead of waiting around for such an impossibility, it is actually about being ‘willing’ to face the uncomfortable truth that there is no such thing; ‘willing’ to face reality and give it a go regardless; ‘willing’ to hold tight and ride out whatever may come our way.

Maybe at the heart of it, we are the only ones that can save ourselves.
