What's Everyone's Theories On What Will Inevitably Derail The Sullivan-Devine wedding?

I have got invested in these two, so here's a little edit. Thanks to @evilsausageflavouredpretzel for the song suggestion. If we get good stuff in Series 11 I may do a remake.

Image that Edgar and Isabel often say the lines from "Much Ado about Nothing" just before they kiss. This might shock people who did not see the play or know they are together.

Lady Felicia is thrilled, Flambeau is confused, Sid think Edgar is being insulting til the kiss and now he's confused etc.

Somebody more talented than me want to write this? Even bring back former inspectors.

If Sullivan seems awkward around Mrs D that's proof of his feelings for her, not proof of a lack of them. The man almost never outwardly expresses his emotions. If he felt nothing for her he'd act as detached as he normally does.

He's clearly uncomfortable with emotions and feelings and affections, either recognising them, receiving them, or expressing them. But he talks about his interests to Mrs D, more than he ever has to anyone else. He refers to her by first name. He outwardly expresses worry for her safety. He's awkward and nervous around her, especially when she flirts, because he's trying really really hard, and he doesn't want to mess this up.

Like, look at his other closest relationships. Father B and Goodfellow are his friends. We can all accept that he clearly cares for them, that he'd trust them with his life, that he values their opinions, but he still talks to them in a way that comes off halfway between overly formal and just plain mean. What do you expect him to do when it comes to romance, suddenly whip out the bouquets of roses and the public declarations? Be sensible here.

Obviously when faced with genuine romantic feelings both from someone else towards him and from him towards someone else he's going to look like he wants to run a mile. Do you even know the man.

Now I'm not saying I'm obsessed.

But for some unknown reason, there are two different Series 11 promotional pictures.

Observe.

In Picture A, everyone bar Goodfellow is focused on the camera. (Apologies for the poor quality).

But in Picture B, it is different. Brenda is focussed on her book, and Mrs Devine and Sullivan only have eyes for each other.

I said THEY ONLY HAVE EYES FOR EACH OTHER.
