Imagine if, despite in the previous episode about how Lucy shouldn’t make a ‘mess of Buck’s family’, Taylor gets angry with Buck and storms over to Eddie’s where he’s watching Chris and actually brings ‘the mess’ with her and into what has - and we can all agree - Buck’s home with Buck’s family, and they get into an argument that ends with their relationship breaking up and her storming out of Eddie’s house and leaving Buck with all that baggage and mess in Eddie’s house (throwback to the beginning of the season where Ana left Eddie with ‘his mess’).

And while Buck tries to make it seem like everything is normal, Chris asks if he’s okay and if he and Taylor broke up because of him and Eddie. To which Buck has to tell Chris that it was because of lots of reasons, but never them. And this would be Buck admitting the truth to Chris, as he’s someone he can’t lie to, and in part admitting it to himself that his and Taylor’s relationship was over.
