don’t know why but my ideal Buddie love confession is always them accidentally blurting it out while yelling at eachother

like i just need them to be mad at each other (because they care) and either of them (more likely Eddie) yelling “because i love you, asshole!!” or something like that

i feel it’s very chaotic and just in character for them

can’t think of a better scenario for the love confession to happen

i can’t stop thinking about how the will scene was INITIALLY supposed to be THE buddie love confession.

This will haunt me forever, it makes me so irrationally(rationally) mad.

no but if the 911 writers deliberately decided to not give us a Buddie love confession in their greatest moments (“there’s nobody in this world i trust with my son more than you”, after the well, hospital scene, post-lightning strike kitchen scene, etc.), then the actual scene better be the best fucking scene in tv history or i will srsly have to slap a bitch.

If they missed so many good opportunities then the actual one better be a fucking masterpiece.

speaking of the possibilities of how the love confession between buck and eddie would go, i genuinely think buck will have the knowledge that he HAS been in love with his bsf for YEARS for like 48 hours before he finally combusts and tells eddie.

Like i think the roles each of them will have -most realistically and character accurate- are: eddie -thanks to his self discovery journey and endebles sessions with frank- realizes he’s in love with Buck. And has been for fucking ever. Pining ensues where we get to see petty and jealous eddie shine. Then he just decides to live with the fact that he is in love with his bsf til he dies.

THEN there’s Evan Fucking Buckley who will just have the gob smacking realization that he is in live with Eddie Diaz and -in true buck nature- will not be able to act normal. Leading to him probably spilling to maddie and one of two things: 1) he -still in a trance like, dumbfounded state- gods over to eddie’s and just confesses in the most idiotic way possible; or 2) Eddie calls him out on his weird behavior and Buck panics until he spills (or just kisses him).

Truly believe this is like the most natural and in 9-1-1 the love realizations/confession can go.

no but like the only proof i need for Eddie’s queerness and Buddie is Eddie’s inability to be romantic to women. Like he has said more romantic things to Buck in the entire show then to both of his gifriends
