Make these sweet marshmallows with a sunflower theme by using paintbrushes and food coloring. These make a great edible craft project or are ideal for decorating desserts.
Ingredients: Large marshmallows. Yellow and brown food coloring. Paintbrushes. Small bowls or cups. Water.
Instructions: Spread the marshmallows out on a sanitized surface to set up your workspace. To make a paintable consistency, combine a small amount of water and a few drops of yellow food coloring in separate small bowls or cups. To create the center of a sunflower, dip one paintbrush into the yellow food coloring mixture and paint the middle of each marshmallow. To make the paint for the sunflower's petals, combine brown food coloring and a small amount of water in a separate small bowl or cup. Paint the petals surrounding the yellow center with a clean paintbrush dipped in the brown mixture. To make it resemble a sunflower, you can make as many petals as you like. Before serving, let the painted marshmallows air dry for a short while. They will become safe to eat once the food coloring sets.

Have you try edible art? Children who act as if their food are an art form are actually learning all kinds of things when they play. They learn words words associated with food tastes and textures.. Preschoolers who play with their food are more likely to eat a more varied diet and are less likely to develop a fear of tasting new things. We make edible cup of plant with a worm during holiday. It was a hit to both the 3 and 4 years old. Some even developed liking in eating mint leaves after the craft. #ediblecrafts #edibleart #holidayprogramme https://www.instagram.com/p/B5vSK7NJuCL/?igshid=1lwcrvs5ylk8z
