Incredible evening meeting @Mets great and team Hall of Famer, #EdKranepool, at the #StatenIsland @FerryHawks game! A favorite of mine since childhood, getting to listen to Kranepool tell tales covering #CaseyStengel and the original 1962 #Mets as well as the 1969 champions and 1973 NL champs was simply #Amazin’! Thanks to Ed and the super fun #FerryHawks organization for making this happen! @AtlanticLeague #baseball ⚾️ P.S. if you’re wondering about the Dodgers/Mets cap Ed Kranepool is wearing, it was given to him by the #GilHodges family in commemoration of Gil’s 2022 induction to the @BaseballHall of Fame.
