It had been some time since the chief prosecutor had found out about the rather sudden disbarment that Edgeworth had been sentenced to after presenting forged evidence. As much as Phoenix wanted and felt the desire to help, he knew he couldn’t simply dive in and challenge the Bar Association, not without solid proof. However, it seemed more challenging now that the man Phoenix grew to respect and accept as his courtroom rival and close friend has become distant and cold. Without that somewhat jagged line of aid, it was up to Phoenix alone to discover the truth and fix what is currently wrong within the law world - a without his rival and lover serving as a defense attorney.
For now though, he was in a meeting with a fellow prosecutor over recent events, working out what was best for them when he heard his office door slam wide open. Heterochromatic eyes widened in shock as he peered over the male sitting before Phoenix to see a familiar... yet ragged face.
“E-Edgeworth..? Wh-What the hell are you doing here?! I-It... It’s been way too long, and now you show up like it’s your bloody apartment!? Gah... Prosecutor, you may leave for now. We’ll finish this after I work out what he wants.” Phoenix dismissed the man who was already here, leaving the two alone in the office.
