I decided to make a website for my WIP book series, because I had to make some sort of website for my New Media class and I figured it may as well be a useful one, and as a result I'm now being forced to actually work on my book and organize my thoughts rather than just world/character building, and I'm not sure if I like this or not...
Like I'm definitely going to continue slowly building this website as I write and eventually publish my books, so it won't truly be done till after my books are all published. But I have to have the back cover summary for the first book done and on the site. I have to have the first chapter that I'm using as a preview done, edited and posted. I have to compile character bios for my three narrators and two alternate narrators, rather than just doodling pictures of them and spouting out random 'character development' on my writing blog. I have to actually get stuff done and organized and I have a DEADLINE that is being enforced by someone other than myself...
