- He has been raised in Charlotte, NC, with his big brother, Ted. Ted is 33 and if the boys used to be very close, they are not anymore. They barely talk, mostly because they don’t see life the same way.
- Jamie used to go to Edens Town every holiday when he was little. His grandfather lived there and he came to spend some time with him.
- After he got graduated from high school, he tried to study financial markets like his brother but he quickly realised that he was not made for this, so he stopped and moved in Edens Town at 21 to work with his grandfather.
- His grandfather was a carpenter, he is the one who taught Jamie everything he knows. When he died, he took over his business.
- Jamie can look broody at first sight, mostly because he isn’t really outgoing. But he is a nice person and once you’ve gained his trust, you can count on him anytime.

Briar is the oldest child of Brandon and Brianna Bennett
The first couple of years of her childhood she spent it in a studio apartment. Her parents were only teenagers when she was born and didn’t have much help from their own parents.
She spent majority of her time with her mom. They were each other’s best friend while dad was away working multiple jobs. He left home early and returned so late -- but sometimes the little girl would stay up as long as she could so she could see him before she’d go to sleep.
As the years passed and both mom and dad started working, they slowly found themselves in better living situations and Briar got a lot more of the things that she wanted. Still dad was always out working. He missed some of her ballet recitals, school performances, even arrived late at a couple of her birthday parties. Her mom tried to make up for it and help her understand that daddy needed to work. And she did understand, but it always broke her heart when he wouldn’t be there.
When her little sister was first born, Briar was really happy. Most of her friends had younger sisters, so she wanted some as well. Despite the big age gap between the two, she loved everything about being a big sister. She loved to take care of her, play with her and take tons of picture to later post online.
In school she was always a bit of an overachiever. She loved to dance, the arts and did fairly well academically. She made a lot of friends because of her warm personality but didn’t always get invited to the parties because her dad was a cop.
Briar changed a lot after her mother’s car accident. The girl stopped going out, preferring to stay home with her sister instead. She broke up with her boyfriend because anything that made her feel happy also made her feel guilty. She stopped talking to a lot of her friends. And she could barely look at her father without crying. He became a ghost of himself.
She decided against going off to college for now. Briar didn’t feel ready and she knew that her dad needed her around. Since mom’s passing, she had taken over the house doing some of the cooking, cleaning and taking care of Baylee. She knew she didn’t have to, but this was what she wanted to do. As much as he told her she needed to go to college and do things that people her age were doing, she couldn’t do it. They all needed each other right now.
Convincing her dad to move was hard, but they did it. They packed their bags and moved to Edens Town to start a new life. A small town life was exactly what all of them needed. There were no memories of mom here, they couldn’t have to constantly face those pitiful looks that everyone gave, her dad wouldn’t be putting his life on the line day in and out, and they had family here.
The past nine months have been better than she expected. Her father was actually going out and she see a gleam of happiness in his eyes, her sister’s anxiety was a little more under control and she even made some new friends. She still missed her mother so much and often felt guilty when she found herself actually feeling happy. She knew that her mom wouldn’t want her to be sad, but it’s just so hard.
PERSONALITY:
She’s very warm and loving-- people could always compared her to her mother. Briar is definitely the type that would put others before herself.
She is an overachiever and a bit of a people pleaser.
When it comes to her emotions, she is very private and keeps to herself when she’s feeling low.
Since the death of her mother, she’s been feeling really lost and has no idea what she wants to do with her life.
EXTRA:
She has a weed pen -- which she hides from her father. She doesn’t want him to know that she smokes.
She’s literally the mom of the group, making sure that everyone is okay.
Briar doesn’t voice it but she low key holds resentment towards her dad because he put work before the family. As much as she understands that he didn’t have much of a choice, it still bothers her. Especially when she sees how he is with Baylee now. She wishes they were that close too when she was growing up.
She loves to sing and sometimes she goes to the open mic’s -- but only when she’s feeling ballsy
Has lived in Edens since he was 2 so he’s basically a native. partially raised by his grandma/in foster homes but mainly raised by @chasemmccoy.
Doesn’t remember much about his biological parents, only that they made life really hard for Chase and caused them to have to be in the situation they were. As far as he’s concerned they dont’ really exist to him.
Was a pretty well behaved child, mostly not wanting to make things harder on his brother but he wasn’t always the best in school. He did well enough though from the help of some tutors and extra credit and Chase’s encouragement and once he graduated high school he got his associates at community college before deciding not to pursue a bachelors.
After getting his degree, he worked as a volunteer firefighter and has been a coach for a co-ed 5th-6th grade rec basketball league since he was 23. It’s one of his favorite gigs and he never gets tired of it. He also currently plays for the police departments rec league.
When he first found out about Chase’s involvement w/ the cartel it was minimal at best, not getting much more than there were things he was better off not knowing about. But it did strike him that there was one way he could actually help his brother and still do good and that was by joining the police force.
What he hadn’t anticipated was that soon after he did his brother would get locked up for some serious time in prison. Levi spent those five years doing his best to be good at his job, pay his rent, visit his brother every weekend and try to cause the least amount of trouble as possible.
If he’s not working he’s usually enjoying a game at Legends or coaching, at the gym or home with his new puppy. If it’s a weekend he’s at Parkers maintaining his highscore on Pacman and still eating tons of pizza like he’s still a teenager.
Now that Chase is out, he’s focused on spending as much time with him as possible while also watching his back to make sure he doesn’t end up back where he was. He knows he probably worries too much but as someone who’s lost a lot Chase is really all he’s got and there’s nothing or no one else he’s more loyal to.
Personality wise, he’s fairly friendly, not as emotionally stunted as most of my other dudes but he’s not always spilling his guts all the time. He’s just capable of not being stubborn about his feelings and is a little more honest. He’s also generally in a good mood most of the time and likes to be someone people see and feel protected by.
He’s v involved in like youth stuff, with the rec league and volunteering at the school when he can. He likes to think he could help kids like him who didnt’ have the best home life and be the kind of role model his brother has been for him, especially for the kids in Ashford.
He loves video games, definitely arcade games and he’s definitely a sports guy. He’s a season ticket holder for the Hornets.
He’s not exactly the cleanest cop in the sense that he likes to make sure no one is gonna cause any trouble for Chase, in exchange there are things he looks past and in the past he’s provided some protection for the Fuentes family, though he has mainly dealt with Fatima herself and occasionally Hector.

Of course exes and flings are always an option. I wouldn’t say Levi is really a player but he def has some hook ups here and there. He definitely has some hs exes and probably a few from the past couple of years/lots of flings while Chase was locked up cause he wasn’t trying to have someone ask him why he was going to visit a prison every weekend.

Comes from an old line of money. Youngest son of Margaret-Jean Good & Timothy Vanderbilt.
Growing up, he could only be describe as a good boy. Always got good grades, well behaved, did really well in sports, listened to his parents and was kind to everyone no matter where they came from.
He was really close with his older brother James, who unlike him was more reserved and kept to himself a lot. He is less close but very protective of his little sister, Elodie.
A lot of Dominic’s personality changed when his older brother committed suicide. The family was shocked. Nobody knew that the older Vanderbilt boy was struggling....at least nobody wanted to accept that. The family certainly didn’t. And they didn’t want to talk about it. If you walk into the Vanderbilt mansion, the chances of finding a picture of James were slim. The family went as far as paying people off to say that it had been an accidental death.
Dominic was only 11 at the time and he didn’t understand why his brother did what he did. Until he discovered his brother’s journal, in which he talked about all the pressure and feeling lost.
It was then that Dominic started rebelling a little bit. He started getting himself into trouble at school and later drinking smoking and drag racing. The more his parents pushed him, the more he rebelled and pushed the family away. It wasn’t until his grandmother and his mother stepped in and confronted him that he finally eased up and actually listened to someone. They didn’t want to lose him, too. His parents just had a shitty way of approaching him.
Things changed, but only for a little bit. The closer he got to graduating, the more over-involved his parents got in his grades, the university he would be going to and what he would be majoring in. He didn’t have a lot of choice when it came to any of it. They were paying and he didn’t have access to his trust fund until he turned twenty-one.
He ended up going to Yale University at the worst time possible. Dominic didn’t want to leave his best friend behind, especially when his family was going through stuff. But he left him his car and made it a point to visit as often as he could and maintain constant contact with him.
He graduated with a business administration degree (no surprises there) and moved back to Edens Town shortly after. Within the year that he’s been back, Dominic opened The Grind in town, which was a franchise of the family business and he continues to throw parties with his best friend.
Personality
Reserved: When it comes to his family and his emotions, he doesn’t open up very much. There’s very little that he can say without bringing up his brother so he prefers to not say anything. Dom doesn’t want anyone feeling bad for him and he hates uncomfortable, emotional conversations.
Romantic: Despite what many think, Dominic is a relationship guy. He like to have that one person that knows him well and whom he knows. He loves to shower them with gifts, affection and trips. It’s the one of the few times he lets his guard down.
Friendly: Dom is kind to everyone that he meets. His easygoing attitude makes it easy for him to befriend just about anyone. He’s not the type to have problems with someone unless that person disrespects or crosses the line with him. He is very caring, especially to those closest to him.
He hates feeling controlled or like someone is playing with him. And when he feels that way, he goes out of his way to do of what that person wants him to do and to piss them off. It doesn’t matter the kind of trouble that it could get him in.

he is not an eden’s town native, he’s actually originally from atlanta but has been in eden’s town for six years now.
the only family he’s really all that close to anymore is his mom, he protects her at all costs. i wouldn’t call him a momma’s boy, he just worries about his mom a lot, she doesn’t like his line of work but she deals with it (he’s on the police force)
due to tramautic events in atlanta (his fiancee was murdered by a suspect), his captain felt it best to transfer him to the eden’s town department and to desk duty until he fulls coped with the loss (he never coped with it) but he’s back to being seargant dorian north.
he has not been in a long term committed relationship since his late fiancee, and doesn’t see the need for relationships. he’s got no issues making friends, but connecting on a romantic level hasn’t been in the cards for him.
his father has never been a part of his life, he really isn’t sure who his dad is. nor does he care at this point in his life. he’s gotten letters but has never opened them, and firmly believes if his dad really wanted to be there for him, he’d be there in the flesh.
he’s always wanted to be on the police force, because he’s also a firm believer that the system is broken, and wants to repair it from the inside out. so that’s what he sets his ambition towards.

she’s lived in eden’s town her entire life..... not happy about it either.
she’s the little sister to tucker rhodes, and big sister to tyler rhodes. also unaware her dads an ass and had another child.
she was extremely close to her dad until his drama became public news, so now she tries really hard to steer clear of her family’s “legacy”, and is really trying to create her own in some sense. so really she’s trying to find herself currently.
she’s a dancer but she stopped dancing when she was eighteen, she had gotten a scholarship to NYU (never told anybody) , but she loves her family too much soooooo she decided to stay in eden’s town, and she fully regrets it.
because she moved out of her parents house the first chance she got, she got a full time job bartending, but that doesn’t really cover her bills either so, she’s a stripper just on the outskirts of town under an alias, and wears wigs to hide her identity so she doesn’t scar her brother ya know. which also allows her dancer background to come in handy, but the stripping helps with income.
she was a very optimistic person at one point, had an easy time with friendships, and general people skills, but since her dads news broke about his bank business she’s turned a little cold, and has a harder time connecting to people that aren’t her brother, or friends she had since before everything happened. she puts on a front for bar patrons and strip joint patrons as well, to help her earn a little extra cash.
she’s the type that even when struggling, she won’t ask for help because she’s determined to prove to her family she can make it on her own, even though she’s struggling real bad. she also went through a brief rebellious phase between ages 15-19 where she was constantly going to parties, staying out with people she shouldn’t be, and just overall getting into a bunch of mess.

XAVIER VARGAS || 39 || JOURNALIST

So his full name is actually Xavier Emilio Vargas Morales (first name + second name + father’s first surname + mother’s first surname), but he’s known simply as Xavier Vargas. He believes it’s just easier to remember.
His mother was Cuban and his father was from Peru. However, they both moved to the US when they were very young, so Xavier was born in New York. He lived there for most of his life, actually.
Both of his parents were well-educated and worked in the medical field, so they never had money-related problems. However, Xavier rarely saw his parents because they were working a lot. He loved them, obviously, but it messed him up a little bit: since he doesn’t want anyone to deal with that kind of loneliness, it became one of the reasons why he doesn’t have children even though he’d want to.
He spent most of his childhood reading various books about spies, and it became one of his dreams to become either a spy or a detective. Obviously, that didn’t work out so he decided to study journalism. His parents weren’t excited about that but he was determined to prove them wrong.
He had alcohol problems when he was in his 20s. The man managed to stop himself from losing control and destroying his life, though. And after that, he even got a job in the New York Times and is still freelancing for them. But he’s also writing for the local newspaper of Edens Town.
And also, Xavier moved to Edens town only 6 years ago because his ex-wife got a job here.
Almost as soon as he moved to Edens, Xavier’s parents died in a plane crash on their way to Spain. He was devastated and nearly got back to his bad alcohol habits. Managed to get back on track again.
Anyway, it wasn’t the last trouble that he had encountered. So, his relationship with his wife was... interesting. They always loved each other, but they were having lots of fights. After one of those fights, she simply left him. And they got divorced. Xavier is still kinda blaming himself from not stopping her.
Aaand now he’s simply doing his best: writing various investigative and news articles, trying to enjoy life in a small town and just... move forward lol.

That changed a little bit when she met Marco. He was so different from her. Strong, funny and with life to him. Things where great until only weeks into their relationship, she got pregnant.

She lost it weeks they found out. And she was relief at first. They weren’t ready --they really werent. But it was a part of her. Of them. The day it hit her, she was a mess and pushed him away.

Her twenties were a WHOLE mess. drinking, no holding down a job for long, sometimes disappearing for days, on and offf relationships. She didn’t love herself enough to happy with someone --not even with the only man she’s ever loved.
It wass shocking how she managed to get a degree. It took her longer than most, but she did it.
Her life changed when she was blessed with a beautiful son. Once again, it wasn’t planned but Marco and her were older this time. And with the birth of her son, she became more mature and really got cleaned this time.
She’s been working at ABCs Daycare as a childcare teacher.
