Edward Rex
Traditional art jumpscare: I love Edward, I’ve nicknamed him “salami sandwhich” because everyone treated him like one for the entirety of season 3 as if he had no free will and would listen to them (cough, Aelswith.)

The Last Kingdom S3 (spoilers)
So I have just finished season three of The Last Kingdom and my belly is full. I dined on the death of Aethelwold the weasel, on Ragnar’s passing into Valhalla, on Beocca’s transformation into a warrior, on the reconciliation of Alfred and Uhtred, on the pardon of Uhtred as an outlaw of Wessex, and on the crowning of Edward as king. Even when Alfred and Thyra died, even when Aelswith attempted to dish out her own “justice” on Uhtred, my belly was full. Season three did not disappoint and I will be here for season four. I hope for good things. I long for the deaths of Aethelred (god please, I hope Aldhelm kills him and perhaps there might be a Thing between he and Aethelflaed) and Aelswith (have mercy, she has plagued us for long enough). Season four, I eagerly await thee. To close, I will only add, Finan is the best man.
