I adore Mate’s performance he’s so wild and animalistic about it and he feels very much like a force of nature to me #dude got the assignment 100%#I def have some more pieces for these two in mind they’re such a cool combo to play with

honestly idk if there is any sort of lion king fandom on tumblr, but i had fun making this :). The Lion King 2 has a pretty ugly palette of colours, so its nice to sort of "correct" them.

(Also side tangent, while I can accept Kiara's inability to hunt (her dad has very little hunting experience and her mom grew up in a period of very little available prey) I do think it's dumb that she doesn't know how to fight. I feel like Nala would be a really intense trainer. tbh the movie should have switched their roles a little--Nala should have been the stricter parent who was less trusting, and Simba more easy-going. Also she should have called Timon and Pumba her grandpas)
