N.B. Mayfly, V2! 

An inscribed OC for Epithet Erased, because I’ve been following that series since it was Anime Campaign, and I’m tied to the tracks of this incoming hypetrain. 

This is the new-and-improved version of a previous version of N.B., pictured here. So if you’re an EE OC blog or something like that, RBing this version instead would be much appreciated! I finally found that sweet sweet font juice

N.B. Mayfly [Epithet: Shutterbug] is an inscribed, overzealous beat reporter always after the latest scoop, keeping up on information. And when your superpowers are words, information is everything! If he's not busy with the Daily Buzz, a trashy tabloid, he's a tracker-for-hire and a classic infobroker offering up Tips & Rumors to anybody's who'll hear him out. His epithet doesn't make him an especially hard hitter, but he's a crafty, rogue-like fighter who uses hit-and-run tactics, popping out, landing a hit with a camera-flash, stunning his target, and vanishing! Not POWERFUL, perhaps...but definitely annoying! Bzz bzz! 

Moves:

 Media Swarm - N.B. dissipates into a swarm of drones to avoid damage and rapidly shift position. Combined with the stunning flashes from his camera crew, this makes him an incredibly slippery opponent to pin down, helping to mitigate his low stamina with quick dodges to avoid hits. 

 Hidden Camera - N.B. and/or his drones can seemingly meld into objects in their environment to maintain stealth. Their flashes do more damage if they catch you by surprise, but unfortunately, they have to keep their lenses poking out while hidden (think the G-Men and their hidden cameras from Psychonauts), and if they're noticed, they can be forced out with an attack. 

 Paparazzi! - N.B. signals his drones for a big photo-op, hitting an opponent with a rapidfire flurry of snapshots. This requires almost all of his drones to be in place to work - often following up a use of Hidden Camera as a sort of ambush. Should he pull it off, it'll do more damage and cause a longer stun - but more importantly, it'll print him an array of photos, feeding him intel about his target's abilities and epithet! Useful for opening moves to learn details about a foe prior to fighting them, and a solid cover for a getaway when used alongside Media Swarm!

Epithet Erased OC content? On my account? Absolutely. Quacey was actually the second proper ee oc i ever made! It was about time I ended up making something like this for him.  Confession: he’s actually significantly more powerful than this. I swear he’s not an op character. I just played him in a tabletop campaign so he got! Real powerful! Also. Yes. There is lore behind the fear of fire thing. Please talk to me about him/ask questions about him. I love him so much.

i made a bunch of epithet erased ocs besides morgan and belle and i’m unreasonably attached to them now

stuff about their epithets + other deets under the cut jic

Potential [Morgan] - gives them the power to raise the potential for almost ANYTHING up to 50% as long as they got at least 8 hours of sleep prior. if they didn't get 8 hours of sleep prior the effectivity can go as weak as a 1% only increase in potential.

Dingdong [Belle] - causes a great gonging noise to fill the air and temporarily stun people; alternatively, it just makes bells ring in an annoying fashion within a certain radius. this does include fire alarms. and bells that only you can hear in your head.)

Arch [Archie] - Constructs arches at the cost of carbohydrates. They're not very useful... most of the time.

Curl [Carlita] - Can curl things. It's actually more useful than it sounds, because her favorite kind of curl is a drill curl.

Veil [Vila] - Always has a veil on that obscures their true face to everyone save for those she chooses to reveal her true face to; can pass through "the veil" and pass by anything undetected as long as she holds her breath (essentially a form of invisibility; if she breathes out, she leaves "the veil" and the cloaking is shattered)

Learn [Leonard "Lenny"] - Fast learner. Can learn anything he wants to learn faster than the average person, but cannot know more than fifteen skills at a time. He has to forget a skill if he already learned fifteen and will have to relearn it again. Every six months he forgets the fifteen skills and must relearn them again.

Dig [Doug] - Can dig... deep into anyone's true persona. If looked directly in the eye, there is a high chance he will expose everything you've ever hidden about yourself unless your mental fortitude is strong. He's horrible at actual digging, though.

new oc: he's a detective named Eron and his epithet is Valentine, he can make anyone fall in love with him by giving them a signed card. im too lazy to do the whole template thing again sorry OTL

Heck yeah, cassidy stats card. yes, she has pretty neato stats. yes, she’ll probably be at least a class 2 when she grows up. She works hard, she deserves it.

I would probably nerf her a little if I ever played using the AC system with her. But it's very bold of me to assume I have enough friends to play with.
