Best open house I’ve ever had. More than 3K people in 6 hours (>500p/h). So glad our research can cause amazement faces in children and adults #osu #eeob #entomology #microscopy #acarology #magnified #outreach (at Museum of Biological Diversity at Ohio State University)

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Friday, April 29, in the South Court Auditorium of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, ten individuals from across the country were recognized as “White House Champions of Change for Advancing Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery.”
These individuals were selected by the White House for their leadership and tireless work to prevent prescription drug abuse and heroin use, improve access to treatment and support recovery.
White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett made remarks, US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy had an armchair discussion with special guests, members of the cast and production team of the Warner Bros. Television-produced CBS comedy series “Mom”.
The Champions of Change program was created as an opportunity for the White House to feature individuals doing extraordinary things to empower and inspire members of their communities. | ©2016 Photos by Cheriss May, www.cherissmay.com
