🌹 Who fell harder & who fell first?
Considering Baran has already canonically informed Robby she'd buy him a drink with her winnings, and it's the shift from hell, and he's being an asshole, I think I can see Baran being the first to realize there's actually something there. And then Robby would be in deep just as soon as he catches up. So I guess I'm not sure if I think it'd be one of the "one fell first but the other fell harder" situations in a classic sense, but it feels right for their characters that Robby would have some catching up to do.
😏 Who is bolder in public (hand-holding, kisses, etc.)?
In a secret relationship, I think Robby would be more careless, the one who's more apt to just take her hand if he wants to even if someone might see (not in a way that's disrespectful of what she's willing to do, just in terms of not being particularly concerned about stuff happening in public). But in a relationship that's out in the open, I think Baran would be more likely to be very intentional about affectionate gestures and what they mean. Maybe her ex-wife (I am simply asking canon do to this one cool thing for me) wasn't really into silliness/PDA/casual touches in her personal space, and secretly this embarrassed Baran, so being with someone who's more relaxed in that respect is really freeing.
🩹 How do they comfort each other after nightmares?
Hmm I think they'd both seek to understand if the other person's nightmare was a flashback/PTSD thing/rooted in reality or if it was more of a random movie from a brain being mean! I think Baran would want physical distraction--to be brought a cup of tea or handed the water bottle on the nightstand, sitting up in bed or getting out of bed for a whlie, an offer to talk about it but no further pressure if she doesn't want to. I think Robby would just want physical presence--to try to stay put and fall back asleep, grounded in the knowledge that he's not alone in bed.
🌙 Who’s the little spoon & who pretends they hate it but secretly loves it?
All my favorite ships are pretty switchy by nature, but a nice little headcanon just popped into my mind of Robby being sleep-deprived and cranky about it and Baran knowing that spooning him is the fastest way he'll be able to get some deep sleep. He might pretend to put up a fuss ("shouldn't that be my job, I mean are you even tall enough to reach?") but within seconds he shuts up because he LOVES IT. And has fallen asleep. :)
