Parallels

Riley was Jasper from Season 1 Episode 9. He is a such a loose canon (recovering from a trauma caused by the grounders) but unlike Jasper he was stopped.

The Clarke talk to Roan is a clear parallel to Anya and Clarke. She offered her hand, Anya didn’t take it. Roan did.

Ilian was Bellamy from Season 1 Episode 5 - throwing away the radio. Look, I get it. Illian is in a trauma. I have even felt for him. But it was still fckn selfish from him for setting the whole damn ship on fire and causing an explosion (that he magically survived) and endangering others. He single-handedly killed 3-400 people (by destroying their safe haven) just like Bellamy by throwing away the radio.
