My fanfiction about Shadow (Rebuilding Trust) may never be published.

My mum decided on her own to change internet contract, resulting in a third world like connection. Is as slow as a 90's internet line (2.3 mbps). I can't upload anything like this. She sais it works but on my PC it is inefficient and even on the phone is downgraded. I'm writing this from the phone because is not doable from PC. Tumblr won't open.

The old line had issues with cloudy skies but it had no issues with solar storms, it was not super fast but it was efficient, I could download steam games in few hours. This one will stop to work with both cloudy skies and solar storms. Is frustrating.

I found a very, very old account, circa 2008, in what was my main fanfiction archive (not English-speaking).

It was, obviously, extremely cringe. What else can you expect from your 14-year-old self?

I’d honestly forgotten most of the things I shoved in there. Apparently, I already had a thing for queer stories, fucked-up power dynamics, and slow suffocation by corrupted systems (sad orphanage setups instead of werewolf anarcho-communist collectives, but you get the gist.)

The protagonists of my past and current WIP even share the same name and, somehow, the same way of thinking.

The main difference is that in 2008 my poor MC was just taking it. In 2025, he’s going to burn that shit down.

At 14 I was a bullied, traumatized thing. Today, I’m really not.

I don’t know. It made me proud.

Ah, Julian. We did grow, didn’t we?

(also, yes, i tried translating the story into my mother tongue but fuck, 15 years of writing mostly in English rewired my brain and I swear my attempt reads like a woodcutter.) Edit: It’s two. Two accounts. I also was very into vampires. Nice to know I’ve been nothing but consistent for the past two decades.
