Amazing the things you find when cleaning out a house.
I’ve only been to Vegas once. It was the week between Christmas and New Year’s of 2001. We saw a bunch of shows: Neil Diamond at MGM, Siegfried & Roy, David Copperfield, and this. EFX at the MGM Grand. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/EFX_(show)
The star of this show was Rick Springfield. He took over the show from Tommy Tune, who took it over from David Cassidy. I wasn’t the biggest Rick Springfield fan (nor a fan at all, really). But I certainly recognized his hits that were scattered throughout the show. I don’t really recall most of the show, but it quite entertaining.
So. I saw a cool show starring a cool guy, and I had a cool drink in a really cool glass (and yes, it really is glass), and I got to keep this cool souvenir glass. Good memories (as far as I recall).
