Guys.
They retrieved 33 eggs!!!
Now we rest up and pray for more good news.
FET may not be as early as I hoped but since my ovaries are so swollen right now they said we may want to wait a cycle or two.
For the first time in a lot of years, I'm actually happy to see CD1.
Time to fax some insurance paperwork, set up satellite monitoring, and make some appointments 😁

What a way of celebrate being a woman in Women's international day.
9 follicles
9 follicles retrieved. I wasn’t too happy w the anaesthesiologist. I asked for the anti-sickness medication that worked like a charm last time and he basically said people don’t really get nauseous after such short anaesthesias. Hello, I’ve been there, done that, I do get nauseous. Turns out he administered much less of the drug than the other guy did last time - prob because it was unnecessary in his view - and surprise, I was nauseous for about 3 hours after the procedure.
Also I asked to move the pillow a little bit as I was getting settled before the procedure and he said: it’s not meant to be comfortable, it’s meant to keep your airways open. Sorry well, a) I didn’t know and b) somehow the other docs have been able to keep my airways open without making me very uncomfortable. Did not like this guy. But he did get the iv needle in nice and smooth. Otherwise not my kind of doc.
