Batter in the Misery

Like every other day in Gotham, the weather was abysmal. There was only dark skies, smog covered streets, and the average scumbag to see--the usual for any Gothamite, he supposed. Luckily for Damian, the Wayne Manor was placed near the outskirts of the city. Even with darkening thunderous skies above them, there was at least a sense of peace and quiet around. Not as much as he would like but enough to be adequate.

But boredom never allowed for rest and near noon, he had grown tired of doing nothing but reading. One can only reread history books and scientific journals on the psychology of men so many times. The boy had then went down to the gym, in hopes of making time passed by quickly by going through a series of old training regimens. He had planned to find flaws and create a new regimen that would serve him better but so far no luck. Still, the work out was worth the hours.

In the end, Damian had left the gym drenched in sweat and dehydrated. He dropped by the closest bathroom to take a towel to dry himself off with before heading to the kitchen for a drink.
