i cant wait for ava to be like:"DID YOU JUST RIP MY BOOK?? OH HELL NAH"
I’m gonna be SUPER disappointed if we fall back to “shy and nonverbal ava taking every single blow without complaining” because like
then wHAT would be the POINT of the massacre

Starter for @eggvoreboy
The sun shone brightly onto the white stone of Vesuvia, the pigeons chirping for bread and the people murmuring about their daily lives.
Kaia sat on the edge of the fountain, her pale green eyes scanning the crowd. Her lavender hair was braided to the side, a style she only wore when she was performing. The coins on her skirt jingled as she stood, a worried look crossing over her soft features. The street musicians usually came around this time, right after the sun was at its highest. When people were cheerful after their midday meal.
The dancer was hoping to ask to perform with them today. She had to make some coin soon or she would have to move on from Vesuvia. Which was a shame because she found the city...captivating. There was a magically aura to it that drew her in like a moth to a flame.
As she looked around for someone...anyone to tell her where the musicians were, she caught sight of a shorter man. Right away she felt the same feeling she had been since coming to this city. That magical draw. It wasn’t coming from him though just....almost as if he was a part of this aura that the city breathed in. The draw that made Vesuvia so different from the other countless cities she had traveled through.
“E-Excuse me,” Kaia asked, her voice soft as she reached for his arm tentatively, “Do you know why the musicians have not come to play this afternoon?”
