Aurigny's Embraer 195 spooling up in preparation for her flight from the Isle of Man back to Guernsey a few days ago. Depending on the day and what aircraft are being used, up to 250 people are being moved each way between the small islands of Guernsey and the Isle of Man via their AirBridge route. More recent media articles suggest Aurigny could start up routes from the Isle of Man, including Gatwick as a way of utilising it's aircraft that otherwise would remain on the ground in Guernsey due to closed borders and enforced isolation in place with both islands and the UK that has caused it to cut most it's flights. One of the more bizarre results of the Coronavirus has been the way these 2 small (but Coronavirus-free) islands, 350 miles apart have come together. Some of the only international sporting fixtures in the world have been played between the 2 islands in the past weeks in football, rugby and cricket and the way people from both islands have been working together and welcoming each other has been great to see, all of which would never of happened in the 'normal world'. Aurigny are rumoured to be looking to keep this link going, even once the Coronavirus pandemic has ended. #Aurigny #IsleOfMan #IOM #EGNS #GCI #Guernsey #GuernseyAirport #29Aviation #GNSEY #29Aviation #Aviation #AvGeek #Embraer #Embraer195 #E195 #Plane #Pilot #PlanePorn #MegaPlane #InstaPlane #InstagramAviation #PlaneLovers #AviationPhotography #PlaneSpotting #EGJB #Aviation4U #AirBridge #Airline #Aircraft (at Isle of Man Airport) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEhZ0TdHcl7/?igshid=1afaqifx081ea
