The Netjeru are beyond human comprehension. They are more things then we can name. They are angry, wrathful, beautiful, kind, loving, petty, spiteful, patient, impatient, peaceful, and so much more. Sometimes one at a time, and sometimes all those at once. There have been many times They have been angry at humans, and even at each other. They have tricked, and lied, and hurt. But that doesn't mean They're bad, our ideas of good and bad, and what applies to us as humans, do not apply to the Netjeru. They exist differently then we do. It would be dishonest to say the Netjeru will never get frustrated with us or our mistakes, and that They won't be impatient or angry. They can, and They will be at times. The Netjeru are also not static the same way humans are, They aren't so fixed. They can be separate entities, and They can combine or divide. Two Deities can be separate in Their entirety but at the same time be part of an entirely separate whole.
There are some who will love you, but not other people. There will be some who are excited to work with you, and some who only will accept worship. Some may not even be interested in humans as a whole.
We can't entirely understand the God's and Goddesses, and that's okay. Their nature is different then ours, and while it's hard, it's important to learn to accept that.
Personally, it's hard for me to see some Gods/Goddesses work so enthusiastically with others, but not be interested in me. It can hurt. I have to constantly remind myself though that it isn't personal, it is the Netjeru existing as They should, it is Their nature. And it's out of my control.
For me, it has also been hard to hear the stories of the Netjeru causing destruction, resulting in peoples death and harm. Or not interfering with the horrific things that happen on our Earth. But the Netjeru are not obligated to save us, They are not obligated to protect us or Earth. That has been a hard pill for me to swallow, that the Netjeru don't owe us help.
But I think that can be beautiful too, because They can and do help us. They accept our worship, They guide us and help us grow. They can love us. Not because They have to, but because They want to.
And I find it so incredibly comforting to realize that while the Netjeru may be wrathful at times, and while They may cause harm, They would never do anything to upset Ma'at.
We all share a similar goal, Netjeru and humanity, and that is to maintain and preserve Ma'at. If someone is going against that, they will be stopped. Ra journeys every night to fight a/p/e/p and brings along so many other Netjeru that protect Him and help Him.
Bad things happen, and the Netjeru don't always stop them, sometimes They cause them even. But They would never do anything to upset Ma'at. We are unified in out goal, and we can trust Them to protect Ma'at with Their lives/existences.
And along the way, They will love and guide us, accept our worship and help us grow. Different ones may work with different people and not others, but we are never alone. There are hundreds upon hundreds of different God's and Goddesses, its all about finding who you click with and who you get along with. You are not alone. We may not be able to fully grasp the Netjeru, but we can love Them.
I don't know if this'll make sense to anyone, but it felt good to write it out.
Dua Netjeru, may Ma'at prevail and balance remain.
