Kira winces when the punch lands onto his jaw; leaving a ugly bruise. 

“Emma; stop!” Kira rushes to her best friend to save him. She’ll crucify him if given the chance.

Lily stays silent as the words she had just said sinks in for her parents. 

She is engaged. But not only did she get engaged behind her parents backs but to another Time Lord. Not only was there another living Time Lord; but he has a twin sister and there are six other Time Lords and Ladies that travel together since the days before the Doctor had blown up the planet (theoretically).

Kira is shocked to hear this. 

Her daughter is engaged........to a Time Lord?!

“Did he threatened you?” Kira can’t think of another reason why she is engaged. Her mind flashes back to when she had met the Doctor the first time; when he kidnapped her off the street.

God knows what the Doctor is thinking now and the bond is so eerily calm from him at the moment.

Unconsciously; they both glance at the Doctor.
