I'd Imagine Pharma initially wanted to get close to the nurse because he wanted to spite FA for not carrying out his job well. You know, when he was busy engrossed in the Wrecker's Memoir? Manual?

He sees FA with this rather interesting nurse and goes okay, why not? It's worth a shot. He's charismatic and he assume nurse would be all over him in an instant. Yeah, well. Not, really.

When he approached them, flirting and serenading them — nurse only gave him a stink eye and pottered away without a word, their tiny form mousey, almost miniscule skimming across the floor.

Big oofm for doctor Pharma. He's humiliated by a mere human. An organic fleshie with blood pumping through their bodies. How, visceral. And, so the not-so-stalking endeavor begins. What apparently started as spite now churns into something more....obsessive.

Nurse isn't safe from the coincidental encounters: In the locker room, elevator shaft, mess hall, changing room...

You almost clocked him in the helm when you open the door to see him, of all people, there. What's he doing there? Oh, just a simple round the block check up routine, he'd say. But you know that's a lie.

And, in those five minutes. You're surprised to see the shuttle, the moment you step into the platform, turn around without a moments notice. As if you weren't there. And, the amount of yelling to get the shuttle's attention fell on deaf ears.
