When an abled person says 'I know it can get pretty bad, I mean I've seen you at your worst' or variations of that all I can think is 'okay, so you have no idea how bad it gets'

It's hard to get some kind of verbal shutdown as a nonhuman being + having a disability or chronic pain.

For example, (for me) it's easier not to talk when I'm tired, but this way I can't appropriately communicate I'm tired because people don't tend to understand me when I'm nonverbal.

Yes, I "can" speak, but it hurts whenever I talk; whenever I move or try to stand. Yes, I "can" speak, but all I need to do right now is to whine and purr and be caressed and treated like an exhausted work dog or something. I want you to understand my body language, and to include me in your conversations in a way I don't need to talk or to speak through my mouth.

I mean it in a way a tired dog still wants your affection. You won't throw some toy on the floor waiting for the dog to catch it, knowing that they won't be interested or excited to play now. And yet, it's still different from a sleeping dog that just wants to be left alone, for example.

Here's an idea for one if those molecule structure tattoos: instead of something like seratonin, it's my favourite otc painkiller, Ibuprofen.

So I had my backpack stolen along with my ID my insurance cards my bank and FSA card , my epi pen, more than half of my Percocet prescription and all of my baclofen. Not to mention all the keychains and pins I've put on there

And the shittiest thing is even tho I filed a police report my doctor will not refill my meds. They are just gonna give me something for the withdrawal. I fucking hate the FDA and everyone that has screw the system so much for those of us who need it.
