Oh, but seriously, there are people blaming Hank for what happened in The Black Spot instead of 1) Ingrid, a white woman who was messing around with a black man just to get greater access to disasters that could attract a demonic entity she thinks is her father and whom she’s been helping for two cycles TO KILL CHILDREN, or 2) all the ultra-racist white men willing to sacrifice not just innocent lives BUT CHILDREN burning them all alive???
All good at home, guys? All good up there? Maybe a little check-in is needed, don’t you think? I mean…

I understand, not everyone likes them. But on the other hand, I don't understand how anyone could see the sibling dynamic there before?
Like… seriously. 😬
After the nude fight scene? After demand that he hand her the panties and Diego's comment that they bathed together? After kicking each other ass a few times and wanting to kill each other? Have you ever seen the way they look at each other?
Okay, so you probably have a pretty weird relationship with your siblings. If he was older, the audience would love them from the first scene.
Impressing and Provoking!
[Some short writings I made]
— The forest was damp from last night’s rain. Shaw walked ahead, carrying a log that was clearly too big for him. He wobbled with every step, his arms trembling, but he kept glancing sideways at Cornelio to check whether he was watching.
“See this? An oak log!… nothing a real hunter like me can’t carry…” — he said, panting under the weight of the log.
— As soon as he finished the sentence, he stumbled and fell flat on his back with the log on top of him. Cornelio approached slowly, arms crossed, wearing an expression that was a mix of annoyance and fondness.
“A real hunter also knows when to leave a log where it is” — he said in a dry tone.
— Shaw, a little red-faced, brushed the mud off himself and got back on his feet, trying to keep his dignity. And proudly said:
“Bah! I was just… testing the ground’s gravity… yeah, a survival tactic”
— Cornelio shook his head, but his smile gave him away.
— Shaw walks through the forest with Lorraine (his rifle) held high, trying to look tough. He glances at Cornelio and says:
“Watch this, Cornelio… today I’m going to catch that stupid deer. And when I do, everyone will know who the best hunter in these lands is!”
— But at that moment he steps on a branch, trips, and falls face-first into the mud. Birds stare at him from the trees, and even a rabbit laughs with a squeak. Cornelio walks over, crosses his arms, and lets out a small chuckle.
“Impressive, Shaw. The forest trembles… with laughter”
— Shaw gets up with his face covered in dirt, trying to save his pride.
“Bah, it was just a distraction strategy. Now everyone will let their guard down!”
— Cornelio watches him with affection disguised as mockery, brushes some mud off his shirt, and runs his fingers through his hair.
“You’re a disaster… but you’re my disaster”
— Shaw freezes for a moment, almost like a puppy confused by the tenderness of the comment. Cornelio notices, steps closer, and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek. Shaw goes stiff, blushing hard, eyes wide, as if he’d forgotten how to breathe.
The forest was calm, until a park ranger crossed their path. Shaw, as always, tried to impress:
“See this rifle?” — he said, puffing out his chest.
“This is my dear Lorraine. It’s the one I almost used to catch a giant bear last week. One precise shot and I would’ve taken it down”
— The ranger raised an eyebrow, holding back a laugh.
“You? Hunting a bear? Sure, sure… and I bet your own shadow didn't scare you afterwards, right?"
— Cornelio stayed silent, watching the scene. Shaw laughed nervously, trying to keep up his “great hunter” act, but what really sparked something in Cornelio was the way the ranger stepped closer to him, giving him a pat on the shoulder like he was mocking a child.
— Cornelio frowned.
“Hey, why don’t you stop messing with the best hunter in the forest?” — he said in a cold, almost threatening voice.
— The ranger looked at him, surprised.
“Best hunter? That clown?”
— Cornelio stepped forward, placing himself between him and Shaw, with a dangerous smile.
“Yes. That ‘clown’ may trip more than he shoots, but he’s far more of a man than you. So… get lost”
— The ranger, uncomfortable, raised his hands and backed away, leaving. Shaw watched him go, then turned to Cornelio with a mix of surprise and adoration.
“What was that?… Did you… defend me?”
— Cornelio clicked his tongue and looked away, trying to hide the warmth in his face.
“Tsk, don’t get the wrong idea. I just can’t stand other people thinking they have the right to make fun of you… that privilege is mine”
— And before Shaw could reply, Cornelio grabbed him by the collar and planted a strong, possessive kiss on him. Shaw froze, his rifle nearly slipping from his hands, knees weak, face completely red.
— Cornelio pulled away, half-smiling, a glint of jealousy still in his eyes.
“Remember that, Shaw. You’re mine”
— Shaw could only stammer, his voice shaky:
“Y-yes… mine… I mean, yours! I am…”
Shaw: he’s clumsy, loud, and a bit pathetic, but now he has that extra motivation of wanting to impress Cornelio. He shows off with speeches about being the best hunter, exaggerates achievements he doesn’t really have, or tries to act like a “tough man”… though in the end he always ends up messing it up.
Cornelio: smart, more serious, with a touch of irony. Even though he sometimes laughs at Shaw for how pathetic he can be, he loves him and never leaves him alone. His jealousy is noticeable too: if any other hunter, ranger, or even an animal seems to catch Shaw’s attention, Cornelio becomes serious, possessive, or sarcastic.
(He even acted that way with Lorraine once, which still makes Shaw laugh)
