update: final farewell

I think this message has been a long time in coming, but I’m going to say it now.

This roleplay’s had a long run of over a year. I didn’t come into it until about a month after it first opened, and I never expected to inherit it, but here we are. I hate to say this, but I think it’s time that Eichen close its doors for the final time. It’s been a great run with all of you, but this is the end. If you ever need me for any reason, you can find me on my indie, @dcvoid. I’ll miss each and every one of you.

This is a temporary situation.

With El Niño’s recent appearance, Georgia - and Eichen itself - has been suffering from an abnormal amount of heat, even for somewhere so far south. In the past few hours, torrential downpours have occurred, and a flash flood warning has been issued. All patients must remain indoors until such time as the staff allows them to go. Staff members may leave, but do so at their own risk; it is advised that they stay in the asylum for the next few days.

Hey, everyone! I realize that the main has been very behind as of late when it comes to posting biographies, and for that I’d like to apologize. It isn’t fair to you all that I’ve kept you waiting for so long. I’m going to make the biography graphics this weekend, and I’ll queue them up. They’ll all be out by Monday night, at which point in time I’ll make a post. If by then your biography hasn’t been posted, please send an ask to the main, as it means I might have overlooked your application.

On a similar note, please only submit your applications through the character application blog. From this point forward, all applications submitted directly to the main will not be looked over, added to the app count, or accepted. Thanks for your understanding.
