This is why I do not want to be involved with the ensekai fandom. The VBS animation is out and there are already people making fun of Akito’s expression and running their mouths just for quick clicks. Every single time anything Akito-related drops, they made fun of him. Or downright said he’s ‘violent’
The eastern side of the community have voiced out their frustration and one thing is true is that:
“Those who joins the bandwagon are not even the character’s fan nor do they even know anything about him, nor his side of the story and the unit’s” and I personally agree with that. Akito has always been the butt of the jokes in that fandom and it’s tiring and irritating to see this happening every single time.
People from the EN proseka fandom who kept talking shit about Akito and openly been so proud of it don’t even realize that, if they were characters in the game; they will be the very definition of bullies. Full stop.
Do some of them even realized that? Or are they too egoistical to not be self-aware of it.
He has been foreshadowed to be bullied since way back then. Way back before he met Ken and Touya. And it was revealed that he was not the one who started it. It was the seniors, the experienced musicians of that city who were the instigators. Just because they do not like him for actually standing up for himself. Something that probably the other juniors that first started singing and participating live events there were afraid to do.
We got information from Mita that Akito was the one picking fights but no.
That is far, far from the truth.
The nail in the coffin was when these seniors, the very seniors who constantly pushed his buttons by throwing insults, jabbing him even after he done his live events; invited him to ‘Crawl Green’. Which they purposefully did to set the hierarchy straight here that he is a nobody while they are the top dogs of that town. They do it in a way that Akito cannot say no to the challenge even after being very fully aware that he still has a lot of things he needed to improve.
Mind you.
He was a middle schooler back then. So if he were to start performing on the streets, say when he entered middle school. That means he was 13 at that time. These adults were cocky, asshole level for literally going after a kid that just wanted to learn and experience the field of music.
I don’t want to spoil much further but let me tell you one thing. What happened back then at the ‘Crawl Green’ event was what worsens Akito’s self esteem. It was the trigger and even up until now, he still thinks he is a low level compared to his other three teammates. He has been verbally been slapped twice. First we learned from Arata and now from this ‘Find my Way Out’ event. And who knows how many more he had to deal with back then. Even after teaming up with Touya.
“But he bullied Kohane!11” “He’s been such an asshole towards Vivids!!” I don’t think you even know what you’re even saying or fully understood the word ‘bully’ because he was not doing any of that. Do you really think Touya will let him do that? Partner up with someone who looks down at other people that are not the same level as them? No.
‘Find my Way Out’ clearly showed that if it wasn’t from those seniors who kept verbally attacking him every single time he steps foot at the Live events, Akito will not be this harsh to others.
FMWO showed us the very reason why he has been so hard with himself, why he is so closed off with other people around him that he isn’t familiar with or as to why he desperately wants to be on the same stage as Touya, Kohane & An.
This thing where people in this fandom kept saying it’s fine to attack him over the littlest things (even down to his cards) because Akito wouldn’t care about it. Or that, this is ‘how’ they show their love for him and that he will do the same to his fans are downright horrible and it’s such a terrible interpretation of his character. If this were to happen in the proseka universe, you will be the same persons as those seniors who severely picked on him.
Some of you all really need to stop making Minato as the antogonist of the show. Episode 10 already showed that he has open his heart a little to his teammates. If he doesn’t, then why is he giving tips to them? Why is he questioning his mom about water polo? Why is he still answering his teammates’ calls at night?
Episode 10 clearly wanted us the audience to see that even if Minato is different than the Minato that we see from the very beginning, this Minato has always been Minato. Treating him like a villain and only seeing him as the jerk just goes to show that you have never seen him as a complex character that also has problems of his own. You have never tried to understand him and what goes on in his head the moment he woke up from the hospital for a second time and losing his memories twice.
His teammates are also starting to accept him back. They agreed to focus the strategy around him after seeing how hard he practice and that he does takes the sport seriously. He inspires them. If it wasn’t for his brother’s words, Amihama wouldn’t see Minato as who he is and will be stuck in always running to surpass his brother. The team wouldn’t work as hard as they can and they wouldn’t see the true potential that Minato has that he has shown in middle school because the Minato we have known gave the others a chance to shine.
But this Minato? This is the Minato that has been shaped by his coach. And by abandoning him, to him, he felt like his efforts are all at waste. Minato changed after the new coach took over. Why do you think Minato was so angry and cold towards people that cares for him? Why do you think he isolated himself from the group? Have you forgotten that it was Chinu that triggered those memories and leaving him disoriented in the rain which leads him to hit his head on the pavement floor? Did you skipped the part where her “brother” told her because of Minato, the team got stronger and that him quitting made him found table tennis? Does that sound like someone that regretted quitting?
Spring cleaning twitter so I won’t see those negative posts made by those people that can’t seem to stop watching something they claimed to hate and then got mad watching it.
I’m talking about those people who kept bringing up how bad Digimon Adventure Tri and the reboot series are when in reality, they were never that bad and you were just bitter because
1) Tri showed them growing up. Something we all have gone through during our teenage years. You cannot expect them to forever be their 01 selves. That is not what Adventure is all about.
2)The reboot series is not the same as the original series. You cannot see past the “01 is better!1” mindset because you’re too busy hating and nitpicking every single thing about the reboot.
Do you have to announce how much you detest something and harassing those who genuinely like the two shows? Do you have to state negative, bad opinions in official accounts instead of ranting it in your own damn account just because you want that sweet, sweet clout?
The international fans have been nothing but toxic.
More people need to read this because I am sick and tired of those people who insisted that “switching” is the correct way and that, them taking turns is what makes them “equals”.
No. It is not. It’s either you are inserting your heteronormative views on people who has a fixed preference without caring about their opinions or you don’t actually know half of what you’re saying and talking over those irl that actually does have a preference and making toxic assumptions that somehow those who only tops or bottoms are unhealthy and unrealistic.
Fandom has been having this top/bottom discourse for years and now they’re taking up a notch by saying shit like switching is the most realistic. I’ve seen this in fandom spaces all over the place and honestly, I find it baffling how a lot of people just go with the flow and start having this mindset.

Not only did they have no respect for C*stiel but they made this whole thing about De*n and nothing about himself. The amount of spam in the tag is just overwhelming. I decided to block all these toxic people but before that I went to to their blogs to see if they are trolls.
