A dog spooked your horse and you went flying!

Today was rainy, yet somehow still sunny, when Jane, her daugther and I went on a heck. Suddenly a black dog - with no owner anywhere to be seen - ran up to us, spooking Chromatica. Bhumi honestly wasn't that happy about it either, especially not when said dog began jumping up at the horses. Luckily Fireboy seemed to stay calm, and definitely not soon enough the owner of the dog - heavily out of breath - arrived, and got their dog, so we could continue our hack.

What I hadn't seen was that Jane had fallen off of Chromatica at this point, and the mare had run off. So what to do?

Lauren's POV

Apparently Fish - the new mare - hates everybody. She is sharing pasture with the other mares (Guardian, Mandalaya and Gazelle), and she doesn't seem to like any of them. Mandalaya is the only one she kiiiinda tolerates, because Mandalaya is mostly ignoring her and leaving her be.

Guardian hasn't got that memo though, and keeps trying to interact with Fish, getting herself bitten or kicked again and again, not learning shit xD

Jane's POV

She doesn't look like much, but this young mare is my very first horse (the second horse I have had in my entire life). And yes, she seems kinda moody - she definitely has some bad moods to work through - and she isn't even broken in yet, but she is all mine.

Of course she has been boarded here at Echo International Jumpers, because what's better than visiting your very own horse during your work day, when times are tough? Nothing I reckon. Her name is Chromatica, but she has those "Creepy Victorian Child"-eyes (my daugther's words, not mine), so I have nicknamed her Fish, just to set the mood at less creepy.

(And yes, her halter says "love wins" as I am sure I will win this moody young lady over at some point!)
