doomed to die, doomed to live
haladriel and eladriel shippers fighting each other is fucking funny. my brother in eru, NEITHER of them are canon. Sit. Down.
This is an above comment made by a guest on my latest chapter of A Ship Of Dreams. I've been accused of using AI to write it.
To be accused of cheating when you create something you love is so disheartening and horrible.
To anyone who has read my stuff, I swear on my life that I would NEVER cheat. I put time and effort into writing something that I enjoy and this person who has accused me of this has really put a dampener on my joy.
The comment has been reported but it's still horrible to be accused of this when I've spent so much time writing Elrondriel fics.
I woke up this morning, and this is what i see. I've never been accused of cheating before. It doesn't appeal to me as a person and I've worked hard finding time to write chapters when I've been busy with my job the past week or so.
I don't really know what the point of this rant is. I guess I just needed to put it out there.
Sauron/Galadriel/Elrond - Broken Crown
Make sure to go follow my amazing guide/collab partner for this edit, @loulialy She was so helpful with the scene selections & parallels (:
When I was writing my one-shot I got this particular scene of Galadriel playing with Elrond’s hair stuck in my head. They are so physically comfortable with each other; that’s definitely their love language.
The way both of them sigh whenever they are held by the other is almost like relief every time. As if their natural state is to hold hands or press their foreheads together and not being able to do that causes them unease.
When Galadriel tries to reason with Elrond and feels this wall between them after she starts using Nenya she instinctively tries to reach for his heart.
When Elrond saves her from drowning in the Glanduin and she attacks him - dagger in hand and in a dream-like state - he touches her hand to ground her like he probably did thousands of times before.
And I have this headcanon in which Galadriel doesn’t see the appeal her own hair has to others but is enchanted by Elrond’s dark curls and is low-key obsessed with convincing him to let his hair longer so she has all the excuses to braid it.
(he doesn’t because he likes to hear her moaning about it)
*sighs*
I’m going to do it for you, Galadriel my girl, I’ll give you what you want just you wait. 🥲
