I CAN’T DEAL WITH THIS MOVIE OKAY
ANDOR: 2.09 || ROGUE ONE
Kay's final thoughts in the novelization just killed me:
She searched the plaza for cover and for Cassian. She spotted him out of the shelter of the doorframe, stupidly, dangerously near the tank, and realized he’d already seen her. He had his own blaster out and fired a cluster of tight shots above her head. She craned her neck around in time to see Cassian’s target: a rebel stationed on another rooftop behind her.
An instant later Cassian’s target and his rebel comrades disappeared in the fiery bloom of a grenade. Jyn could only guess one of the rebels had been aiming the explosive her way.
Cassian had shot one of Saw’s rebels to save her life. Jyn supposed the should have been anguished, torn at the thought.
She wasn’t.
She sprinted towards Cassian.
#THIS MOMENT #that slight smile and nod is Cassian recognising a partner in Jyn #and from then on buddy #it’s all downhill #and everyone cries at how drift compatible they are (via @roypoi)
starting to think some people dont like women very much
a 10-step guide on how to win over a woman, according to Cassian Andor (in/sp)
I love when you’re reading multiple fics by the same author and you start to spot all the phrases and adjectives they like to use
I ghostwrote these tags my god
evil will always cannibalize itself
for no reason whatsoever
🍿
[Jyn] dominated his thinking nonetheless. Cassian believed neither pity nor pragmatism explained it.
JYN ERSO and CASSIAN ANDOR in ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY (2016)
there is something people need to realise is that cassian died in the end of rogue one and whatever you think that would happen if he lived is not “realistic” or “how it’s written”, that’s simply your fanfiction too because he is fucking dead. there’s no textual proof or whatever that he would never want to be with jyn if they lived, or that he would never have romantic feelings for her, or that he would run to his ex that dumped him one year before because he is dead and all of these scenarios only exist on people’s minds. and even if there were, this is called fanfiction for a reason. it was never about worshiping canon lmao we’re here doing our thing. now please give everyone a break with your patronizing shit acting like you know the absolute truth about a situation that did not happen. go write your fics exploring your ideas like we are doing for 9 years and be happy
THIS. What some people don’t get is wherever they think Cassian would have done or said is a moot point because he died in Scarif - I’ve read people wondering that he was thinking of Bix, Maarva, Brasso, etc as he was holding Jyn in his arms though it’s all speculation and we do have a novelisation folks. At the end of the day it’s all speculation and fanfiction exists for a reason so let people ship in peace
LET THEM PASS IN PEACE (as Chirrut would say)
Cassian and Melsh: we're going to imperial controlled Coruscant on a suicide mission to save someone actively being hunted by the ISB
K2SO:
Cassian and Melshi:
I love how pissed she looks.
“Fine. Save my life you fucking fucks.”
Cassian, Melshi, and K2 on their day off (they were grounded)
when I tell you to move, you move
character who;s doomed form the start but not because of tragedy or anything but because they're a woman and their writer is a misogynist
