Latest Movies: Last thing I remember watching is this three pack that my big sis gave me and it had Get Him to Greek/Role Models/Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I really enjoyed Role Models cause Cleveland acted out the opening scene and it was great

Dream trip: I’ve been dying to go back to Corpus Christi or Orland but definitely would love to go to Spain


Dream job: Opening up my own Independent Winterguard/ it would be amazing to have an all female Drum Corps but thats tough. And opening up a record label company/a concert venue

OH MY GOSH I LOVE PORTLAND U LUCKY DUCKY! both of those colors are beautiful, oh my gosh. i’m freakin out because i LOVE loVE LOVE!!! great danes!!! moths also scare me, tbh. one died on a glass door the other day and i had to look at it from the other side for like a full minute and get verbal confirmation that it wasn’t just a tiny bat. opinion on it: SUCH an all-around amazing show. Obviously the comedy is great but it's also so pointed and purposeful and the show has a real heart to it. It understands that to properly parody something, you have to hold a real affection for it and the way it ultimately celebrates religion is really heartwarming.favorite song: THE ENTIRE SOUNDTRACK TBH but if I really had to narrow it down to 3 I'd say turn it off/sal tlay ka siti (and its reprise)/orlando (reprise)favorite scene: I HAVE NEVER SEEN A RECTAL BLOCKAGE OF THIS KIND also the sal tlay ka siti reprise i don't care that these are both songs, they're not on the cast album so i'm putting them as scenes.dream role: nabulungi

I sympathize with the other anon. My favorite version is the RAH concert and Kay's Phantom is one of my favorite adaptions (I have it proudly displayed on my dresser right next to the original book). I just refrain from posting about how much I love them because I do see quite a bit of disdain for both, & sometimes that goes for people who like them as well. The majority of people can critique the work without critiquing the person, but the minority of those who can't can be unfortunately vocal

I love a lot of things about Susan Kay’s Phantom, enough to have collected several 1st edition copies of it, and to have gone out of my way to obtain the recent Japanese production of it. There are very valid critiques that can be made of Kay’s novel, but there are a lot of really awesome things as well, especially IMO the relationship that Kay created between Erik and Nadir. I’m sorry if people’s critiques of the book have turned into personal attacks against you. There’s a difference between having a reasoned debate about a book, and flaming someone because they like something you don’t.
