More reports on cursed spirits. Megan was so tired, but cursed spirits didn’t sleep so neither should she. Sat at the desk in her classroom, lost in the report, the words slowly began to meld together and turn into a soup on the pages. Leaning her face into her palm, Megan felt even the caress of her hand to be a worthy substitute for a pillow. Eyelids pulling down, demanding to be shut, they began to find it difficult to fight back. Maybe if they shut their eyes for a couple seconds, they could put off sleeping—

It was a good thing Megan wasn’t in any real danger in her classroom at Jujutsu High, because Gojo Satoru snuck up on Megan entirely too easily and she’d be dead if he was a cursed spirit. But Gojo was quite the opposite — he attacked her not with an intent to harm, but with a kiss, on the back of her shoulder. Nevertheless Megan shot up out of her chair with a jolt, only exiting her fight-or-flight mode once registering the familiar tall, lanky figure that stood behind her.

“Whoa, relax there, sweetheart. It’s just me.” He chuckled and held his hands up in defense, seeming more amused than concerned Megan would actually hurt him. “What’s got you so on edge?”

“Damn it, Gojo, I could’ve really hurt you,” Megan snapped, immediately feeling guilty about her irritable tone.

Gojo didn’t miss a beat. “Sure, let’s pretend that’s possible. Doesn’t matter — what’s wrong?”

“I’m just tired.” Megan glanced to the reports on her desk, and Gojo followed her gaze and seemed to understand immediately.

“Go to bed,” he said softly.

It wasn’t often people got to hear Gojo’s soft tone. Being the strongest sorcerer of all — and knowing it — Gojo often spoke in a cocky manner, loud and calling attention to his presence, oftentimes being outright obnoxious. But with Megan, his tone would change entirely. He would speak soft, calmly, as if nurturing her with only his voice.

“But—” she began to protest, despite knowing it would be fruitless.

“Go to bed.” He repeated himself, firm yet still gentle. “I’ll take care of it.”

He embraced her, held her against his body for a few heartbeats, which Megan could measure with her ear against his chest. He planted another kiss, this time on top of her head. “Go to sleep. I’ll join you in a couple hours.”

sgdhfgsd Strop is the fiend that got ball into BlazBlue and now here we are :/ I'm deeply in love with two stupid idiots. Which is WILD honestly bc it required me to buy games and then actually play them and I did BOTH. somehow

7. are there any specific scenes/chapters/moments of your f/o that you find yourself going back to revisit more often than any other?

YES !!!! for Bang there's this one scene in Chronophantasma where he's camping with Bullet in the woods and he's trying whatever he can to get her to relax and smile... He tries to tell a joke and then when that doesn't work he draws a face on his stomach and does a stupid belly dance he is SO stupid and SO sweet and he goes to such lengths to get people to smile and it makes me so 🥺🥺🥺 I also like watching his Chronophantasma gag reel bc both him and Azrael are in it and its funny. also bc it has one of my fave Azrael lines ggfshdkf

For Azrael, theres Bang's gag reel, sometimes his gag reel which is similar but somehow more stupid (and had both of them sgdhf), AND. ESPECIALLY. Theres a part in Kokonoe's Extended story where it shows him fighting troops and also Tager during the Ikaruga Civil War and its just. its so. he's so........... GOD !!!!!!!!! GOD 😳😳😳 also. this one part in the story mode where he's like "giiirrrrlll" to Celica, I go back and watch that constantly FGSHDKFSDF

A funny thing that's been happening while I finally watch JJK is I keep thinking "Where is Meg??? Why isn't Meg here??? Gojo's there so when does Meg show up???" (which I assume is also Gojo's usual thought process as he's going about his day as well lmao). Just wanted to let you know that I associate you and him so much that Meg + MegGojo is true and canon in my mind lol (@eldritchships)

maya erskine, aka the voice actor for mizu from blue eye samurai. i picture melys having a slightly deep androgynous voice, which i feel mizu’s voice fits p well

melys collects any gems that get washed up in the tides, as a way of “treating” themself while stuck in the ocean doing their task. so some of their favorite gemstones would be their most prized possessions

Phoenix loves talking to them! Especially Washford, his voice and the way he speaks is so poetic they could listen for hours. Drysdale too, they love anyone who's a bit dramatic.

🦀: how did they handle realizing they were in love? embarrassed? nervous? mad?

i think they were both embarrassed because their entire relationship revolves around getting one over on each other (they’re both bounty hunters competing for bounties in several episodes so rivals to lovers) so it was like “for real?? them??” from there meg became nervous abt it (which is uncharacteristic for them) and spike just becomes mad lol

🫣: who stumbled the most with their feelings around the other? how much did the other person notice?

so i think after they both have their realization (which would probably be around the same time for comedy’s sake) they’d both be trying too hard to keep up their current dynamic so they’d both be stumbling. if anything the others of the bebop crew (particularly faye) would notice before either meg or spike did. but there mayyy be a moment where one figures it out before the other - and i think it’d be meg who puts it together before spike
