Watching the Defenders

So i just watched defenders ep1 (yes i know its supposedly bad, yes im watching it anyway cuz i can and cuz i need to see all the matt content that i possibly can) and bro what is claire doing here??? Huh?

Okay i watched recap of the other defenders' shows and bri what is she doing in all of them???? Bro what??? Okay so like, im sorry i dont like the character, she bores me, not my type of character so like... lowkey dreading if i have to see her too much lol. Her actor acts her well i just dont like the character type you know? Oof

Anyway that little convo matt had with the paralysed kid in ep1 is everything to me. I got so excited when i saw foggy that i totally forgot they disbanded nelson and murdock and when he said the other law firm's name it all came crashing back and nooooooooo. Also. Matt stopped being daredevil???? Huh??

3 episodes for something to actually happen and we finally get our first action scene ugh i was waiting so long. The intros were good but i was looking forward to the action. (Also i cant tell who is who cuz everyone is wearing gray/black cloithes/suits 0.0)

Okay but im actually kinda loving this dynamic so far of the team. We have two rationalists who are miserable exasperated guys who live in the real world and dont know what is going on and only know each other who each somehow aquired their own little freak guys who are screaming about "immortal ancient blood ninjas!!" And are running around doing flips and karate kicks its actually hilarious i love it so much

Ahahaha this js so fun im having a blast this is so good. Also matt stranglig the guy for information and the others scared he's gonna kill him is so good i need more desperately. Everything that is going on is such good fun. they all hate eachother so much and im so happy for them.

(Yay matt actually feels blind again here! I love his little head twitches, he is so cat-like i love it) he is such a frantic rat the entire show. hehe the cops think that they kidnapped an innocent lawyer for some reason XD. What i dont get is matt's such lack of care for people killing around him. Bro was hitting guns and hammers out of frank's hand but now he barely shrugs in their direction when someone kills, and the idea of bombing the hand people. Like sure they arent really alive but he wouldn't kill electra and bro hadn't wanted to kill nobu so what's up matt???? Also i dont get why stick betrayed them. This is all his fault.

Cmon danny, you know the same martial arts electra does how are you failing to fight her completely :/ also i know its grave but bro dont activate the fist near the door that is the most stupidest thing ive ever seen.

Why the heck is claire here in the final fight zone. That is so dumb. Why. She is a civillian who cant fighht what is she doing hhere get her away why did thatd etective lady let her go with them they are so dumb

Okay bro how does claire even know how to fight? If the others got knocked down from one sword slice from a guy how did claire even last a second what even. I wont stand for this claire glazing. Also wow this show really loves beheading and dismembering, limbs sliced off at every moment huh?

Oh boy litterally how did matt get out of there. Litterally what. What even. The sisters of the church have him, are they something? Are they gonna be something in s3??? Anyway, conclusion on defenders:

ABSOLUTE FUN! i binged this in two days, the length was perfect at no point did i feel bored and pacing was very good. Love love the chemistry between the characters, so fun. Ep 4 was so funny loved it so much. Alctually had a blast i dont understand why people hate on it so much you people talk about it like its the worst thing ever when s2 of daredevil was litterally so so much worse and mindnumbing that this. This is actually pretty good quality stuff. Im guessing its because of the different tone, like 'boo hoo this show isnt dark and gritty and brooding as my other favourite show, its automatically a waste of time wah' when that is litterally not what this show was trying to achieve. Like if it was trying to be the same type of story as daredevil then yeah it would be bad but its not even trying to, its doing something different and it fits that type of story excelently, i dont get why people hate it so much. I loved this so much i would rewatch it. Loved this show actually, super dissapointed there was never an s2, i would love to watch this teamup again, will totally be reading comics and fics of them.

Defenders Theory

What if Matt actually was killed when the building went down? What if Elektra's Black Sky powers saved her and let her escape with his body? What if she got some of the dragon bones and used it to resurrect Matt from the dead? What if Matt's now as insane as she was when she was resurrected? What if he can't properly remember his life with Foggy and Karen and the others? What if he's going to be the villain of Daredevil season 3?

Okay so at first i was like s2 isnt that bad, i enjoyed the frank stuff at the start and such but yeah when i properly look there is a massive drop in quality from s1 to s2. Decent but im starting to get bored tbh. I like the electra stuff. However i think there is quite a bit going on that dont really tie in that well together, ie what does frank have to do with electra or the hand. They are two uninvolved plots. Also i thought the hand where gon be the big bad so why are we only hearing of them now in ep8? I get the yakuza hv something to do with them but still. Also the depiction of matt has dropped significantly again, im not getting much about him like the start of s1 and that sucks. I dont get any indication tgat he is blind too, the soundscape of the radar sense is exelent and charlie's acting is great but other than that it may as well be that matt is fully sighted tbh. Also i was excited for the hearing loss to be something but i hear its only mentioned in like ep13 so aaa i wish it was more.

Also i would be so insanely mad at matt, i am he is so dumb wth, idc how alluring and guilt trippy forcedul electra is, why arent you focusing on your case. Im so much more intrigued by all the frank stuff. Valid crashout fron everyone else tbh.

Also with karen. I guess i didnt realise that people can be in love eithout being absolutely mentally ill and insane over eachother lol its qhatever (and no i dont ship fratt. They dont have love or hate but a secret, more evil third thing) but bro karen seeing electra in the room i knew exactly that was gonna happen and was right. Valid crashout from her considering what she knows is that he betrayed them bt not showing up to find a girl in his bed.

Matt. You idiot, blurt out that she is an old friend who got into an accident and had no family to pick her up or care for her. She might still be mad but less so, karen is a nice person. Ik matt wouldnt want to lie like that but bro this is so annoying my least favourite tropes is the cheating misconception arc that is in every tv show ever i hate it and hate the romance cuz of it auahabsgdhsnhsh so annoying tbh.

Also WHAT DID KAREN DOOOO what history do you have GIRLIE POPS IM GOING INSANE WHAT DID YOU DOOOOOOOOOOO i so cant wait to watch her in the punisher and hopefully find out more cuz surely it cant be just wesley. Like it totally could be but i have a feeling its more. KAREN PLS BE OKAY
