It was too cute. Sophocles had to keep a straight face but inside he had a soft spot for the electric/fairy-type.

“Where’d you come from? Do you have a trainer?”

Oh no he was asking questions, all the Dedenne wanted was a possibly treat. Seems he needs to be a little patient. Still having the cute look on his face he grinned and gave a nod.

1. Plumeria probably has a soft spot somewhere for the kid, despite her constantly bashing heads with him. He’s young and has made the best of his intelligence, much unlike her, so she wishes him the best with his future.

2. She’d never win in a battle against him fairly. Of course, she’d try to cheat, but she’d feel guilty about it and fess up.

3. I imagine she brings lots of technological junk she finds to him. She finds a broken pokedex while dumpster diving? It’s his. A busted radio? His. She doesn’t really know if he needs the stuff, but he takes it and tinkers with it.
