20. mezinárodní konference o elektronickém publikování ElPub

Začátkem června proběhla v německém Göttingenu 20. mezinárodní konference o elektronickém publikování ElPub s podnázvem „Positioning and Power in Academic Publishing: Players, Agents and Agendas“. Konference se věnovala ekosystému vědeckého publikování a interakcím mezi vědou, vědci a občany, především pak významu šíření a publikování v rámci těchto interakcí. Sborník příspěvků z konference je přístupný v režimu open access.

Assignment 1:

Using Adobe Illustrator, the aim of the project was to create a brochure for the Communication Technology course offered at Old Scona. The purpose of the brochure was to inform incoming students about the different aspects that can be chosen to explore during the course. Indicated by the different coloured boxes, I included brief information about what can be expected and learned from completing each component. 

Assignment 2:

Using Adobe InDesign, the goal of this project was to create a 10 page magazine of our choice. I chose to do a travel magazine to inform interested visitors about the wonderful places and food they can experience in South Korea. Being Korean, and having visited the country before, I wanted to share some of the beauty and fun that the country has to offer.
