Keiko finally found a pay phone at a campsite and decided to give Spider a call. She was starting to become curious about what it is like in human civilization... that and she was growing quite lonely all alone. But for now, should she ask? Or should she just ask him to meet her to talk somewhere? She was debating on whether or not she should do either when she felt as if she was being watched, an anxious feeling of dread that she hadn’t felt for years was taking hold...

Luckily for Keiko, Spider wasn’t busy. He’d actually just become un-busy, as he slid the last of the cooled freshly-baked cookies onto a plate when his comm rang.

Snatching a cookie off the top of the pile, he turned to lean back against the counter, munching on the cookie as he answered.

“Yo. What can I do for you?”

Gina wasn’t sure where she had ended up. Her car had broken down and there had been no signal for her to reach anyone. It was moments like these that she missed having a maintenance crew, not that it ever did the old shuttle they had much good. And she missed Enkidu. It would’ve know the way to the nearest gas station and not just be stumbling around. She just hoped she wasn’t accidentally trespassing on any one’s property.

  “My name’s Raven Skyen, and I used to live in a small farming village called Arcadia. But it burned down years ago, so I live alone in a cabin in the woods nearby. I was taking a walk when I heard you singing... It was such a familiar tune I had to see if it was anyone I knew.”

"Oh..Hello, I'm guessing you're members of Bruce's family?" *smiles warmly, accidentally showing her sharp canine teeth*

“Oh, hello there dearie! Yes, i’m his aunt. And this is my dear husband.”

@element-heart "Now where the fuck am I?" Spider frowned as he eyed the small device in his hand, as if he expected it to bite or explode. Note to self- don't trust anythin' from Gate...even if it's Dynamo givin' it to you. Sighing, he shoved the device in data storage and looked around, feeling vaguely unsettled by the thick forest around him. He wasn't used to seeing so much organic greenery around him, more used to the technorganic and mechaplants that became popular after Eurasia. He clearly wasn't anywhere close to home. Still...he was incurably nosy, and he started off through the trees to explore, keeping a cautious watch for any kind of threat.

Cedar shouldn't be doing this.

He really shouldn't.

But Spider wasn't home, Dynamo was off on a job somewhere, and Cedar wasn't in a mood to wait for either of them.

Eyeing the coffeemaker on the counter, the sniper hesitated, then made a decision. How difficult could it be, after all? He'd watched its use many times before- put in water, turn the machine on, press a button to heat the water, place a cup under the spout to catch the water, brew tea... Surely his wretched luck with cooking couldn't affect even something that simple?

Unfortunately, things weren't quite so uncomplicated, due to the fact Spider's camera-bird was also on the counter. The avian mechaniloid hopped about, flapping its wings and making such a ruckus that Cedar was surprised the neighbors hadn't called to see what was going on.

The sniper didn't need a translator to know the bloody creature was cursing him six ways from Sunday for what he was doing.

Turning a narrow-eyed glare on the camera-bird, Cedar huffed. "Will you stop that?" he groused. "This isn't going to be like last time!"

The minute Spider received word from Gate the teleporter was ready, the bounty hunter stopped by only long enough to get it, and then he was immediately teleporting out to Keiko's world. He didn't waste any time heading straight to the shelter, making sure nothing had happened since his last check.

Satisfied, he went in search of Keiko. And he tried very hard not to think about where he'd be taking her in his world just yet.

He was not looking forward to dealing with his creator.

Would he like if if people said ‘thank you for such a pretty night’ instead of praying about random stuff?

(( I don’t really know if he’d really be the deity that represents night- but he’d be the kind of be known for avoiding light. Not necessarily evil though.

He’d appreciate small phrases of gratitude though, rather than prayers.))
