I've been reading through a lot of fiyeraba fics lately and also trying to find the inspiration to write my own (bc I have ideas, I just don't know how to get them out of my brain). Anyways, if anyone would like to recommend to me their favorite fiyeraba fic that they've read/written, I would love to read them 🥰 I do prefer ones that are a little happier (or at least have a happy-ish ending), but I'm willing to give anything a chance.

I was Team Elphaba walking into the damn movie. And now that I’ve seen “Wicked” in its entirety, disrespectfully: FUCK EVERYBODY WHO PLAYED IN MY GOOD SIS’S FACE!!! This especially goes to Galinda’s fake ass! She been playin in Elphie’s face since Day 1 and had the nerve to ride her coat tails into BEING THE “GOOD WITCH” in the first gotdamn place! The only reason she ended up under Morrible (a bitch whose name rhymes with Horrible, mind you) and that fake ass, fuck ass, ain’t shit ass wizard is because of Elphaba! Then, watching this from a racial perspective, Galinda is a spoiled, rich white girl who has never had to legitimately try to earn/achieve anything in her life because everything was always given to her. In contrast, Elphaba (black) has been fucked since the beginning: born of an affair, adopted and raised by the nanny, mother died before she could at least tell Elphaba who her real daddy is, forced to be the overbearing babysitter of her very capable sister Nessarose, taken in by Morrible the backstabber at a PWI (let’s face it: they probably just started accepting black children and the children of munchkins not too long ago as a DEI measure), and then used and betrayed by her, Galinda, and the Trickster in one fell swoop! Straight up Hard Knock Life from beginning to then! I felt for her and am rooting for her forever!

On a more positive note, Elfie is doing it for the nerdy black witches okaaaayyyyyy!!!! And she unwittingly bagged the Pink Opp’s man! Elfiyero for the win!!!🥰🫶🏾🫶🏾

Finally watched Wicked: For Good. The first ten minutes in I was already pissed because Galinda BEEN a magicless pink pop tart! They hyped this girl’s ego from the beginning. Then, it finally came out that Boq SETTLED for NessaRose! She got mad at him, turned him into the Tin Man, and BLAMED Elphie for it! At least Elfiyero is still game and left Pink Opp in tears! But at the same time, Fiyero got arrested defending Elphie and she, in turn, turned him into the Scarecrow before the Ozians could kill him! Like, this all happened because everyone but Elphaba was dishonest with themselves and with those immediately around them: Nessarose wanted Boq who wanted Galinda who wanted Fiyero who wanted Elphaba who was enemies-to-friends with Galinda who turned Boq’s crush on her on to Nessarose who became resentful and cursed him and blamed Elphaba when all Elpahaba wanted was some peace, some dick, and some RESPECT!!!! Then, it came out the WIZARD WAS THE FATHER?! I’m SIIIIIIICCCKKKKK!!!! At least Galinda the Pink popped her shit in the end and got rid of Morrible and McWizard the Terrible and Elfiyero got their HEA. This story proved to be as much of a whirlwind as the one that brought Dorothy to Oz.
