im gonna reply to this on my main blog because i dont want the college one to get cluttered

im not having that blog explicitly agree or disagree with the source materials, it's just a practice of collecting ideas even if its just to argue against or disprove them later on in an essay... its a thing ive collected from my college courses (history, anthropology and archaeology) where, especially in history the written sources are usually really biased and odd because they're etic views .. its hard to tell because all the associated ramblings are on this blog rather than the other but this is what i actually said about it. since i deferred last college year due to health reasons, my lecturers adviced me to keep challenging myself so ive been snooping other sources and checking how good they really are. ive found that rodney castleden's points of view are very unfounded in actual evidence but its useful as a starting point due to the specific sites, artifacts and terms mentioned

Plot twist, Aitrus was a skilled 'heek player and that thing he's wearing is his treasured medal from a local pro tournament. Gehn... didn't know many things about his father and... reinterpreted it...

((Sorry this took me a while!

To be honest, I really don’t know what to say.

People have always praised me for taking on a canon character such as Elenwen, but I’ve never really found it as difficult to portray her as some people have almost implied it to be when taking on someone from canon. Most people say that OCs are easier, but for me it’s very much the other way around. I can hardly hold down my two OC blogs and for that reason, I think I’m perhaps the wrong person to ask.

I feel awful not giving you a proper answer, but I truly am drawing a blank. I’m so sorry! I’m useless, aren’t I? ;-;))

An Unexpected Party (Bren, Ella, Surprise Guest)

The day was going brilliantly. Ella had journeyed alongside Bren with a bigger smile than usual on her face, a certain spring to her step. She had been given news only hours prior that she had not expected ever to hear. Hope had built up in her, finally breaking her calm countenance into a constant grin. She hadn't yet told Bren the news, for fear that something would go wrong. But she would soon. They had traveled two hours north of Solitude, four west, and one southwest. Now they rested at a spot of just north of Reach territory. A green vale of dragons tongue and lavander stretched out before them. The horses were grazing nearby, taking particular interest in the snapdragon and baby's breath. The mer sat in a patch of emerald wisps, fingers working on braiding a long, soft thread of green grass. Piles of flowers, organized by type, lay before her. She brushed her finger over each before selecting a large dragons tongue. "What do you think?" She held it up for Bren to examine. "As the centerpiece of your flower crown?"
