The Champion Who Refused
Name: Æðelþryð (Noble, Strength) Alias: Elfreda (Elf Strength) FC: Ooeda (Plus-Sized Elf) Age: Easily over 500, though she refuses to say for sure. Height: 6′ Weight: She’s very muscular, and has put on a little weight. Pretty hefty. Cup Size: F Build: Muscular, strong, but a little chubby. Lumberjack frame. Notable traits: Elven ears. Very obvious scarring.
Personality: Elfreda has mellowed out since she was first forced through the portal, and generally keeps a fairly laid-back demeanor. She’s kind to those who come to her for help, and generally just does whatever she feels like- she’s certainly comfortable with the number of gems in her pocket... or at least she seems to have no worry about spending them. Though she wears no armor and carries now weapons, she is undoubtedly a warrior, simply by the way she holds herself. While she tends to be more skeptical of those who are corrupted, she doesn’t usually pay them any mind unless they’re being particularly aggressive themselves, especially due to how easily she can regulate her own corruption.
Background: One of the first Champions to be forced through the portal to Mareth, Elfreda had a bad time of it in the beginning, as most Champions do. Resenting those who had forced her through the portal, she abandoned her duties as Champion, and decided to live out her life in Mareth, the worries of her previous life left entirely behind. Settling down in Tel’Adre, She lived a pretty standard existence, sheltered from what occurred outside the walls.
But she became bored, with nothing to accomplish or work towards, she sought to do something worthwhile- and, in fact, she found it. The city guard was always looking for new hires- so she joined up, learned how to use a sword, move in armor... but after a few decades, she was bored of that as well. So, knowing she enjoyed physical activities, she joined a monastery, one known for its martial arts. She found peace there, and ways to calm her mind.
Of course, that didn’t last forever, either. And so it went- she discovered something new to explore, explored it, and returned to Mareth. Now she’s sitting on a hodgepodge of different skills, and is very likely the single most dangerous person in Mareth to date.
But that only comes up if you piss her off- something remarkably difficult to do! So she lives in Tel’Adre, occasionally lending a hand to the town guard or anyone who seems to need it, living a happy, simple life- and often traveling out to the fields and mountains to spend time with salamanders and oni, respectively.
Hell, sometimes she even rolls into the bazaar and pals around with some of the demons- the pirates that have shown up recently are of particular interest to her. To Elfreda, everyone is fair game, until they try some shit she doesn’t particularly care for.
