Can some of you guys stop being such assholes about Elgin in the latest episode.

Like yes from our perspective thats a stupid decision but Elgin is not us. He doesn't know about man in yellow. He also isn't avare that there could be a shapeshifter among them. But you know what hes avare of? The reincernation cycle.

From what he knows Sofia could be somebody who got reincarnated and showing that photo might even help her with remembering.

And thats not even considering the fact that he already got scewed over by an evil entity that used photos to manipulate him. From his point of view asking the nearest person if they see what he sees too is the best way to prevent another Fatima situation. It's not his fault the nearest person was Murders Georg.

Also a character making a bad decision does not excuse ableism. Stop caling him stupid cyclops.

What's interesting to me about the Sara/Elgin comparisons is that Sara seems much more outwardly regretful of her actions than Elgin.

She doesn't want to do the things she does, she knows it's wrong, she knows it's bad, but she believes it's the way to go home. Elgin, while on a surface level knows he's doing a bad thing, he doesn't regret it.

Their reactions to the actions they take are very different in that regard. I wonder if it's to do with their connection to the town or the severity of their actions (murdering a boy vs forced pregnancy) or if they're being influenced by separate entities with different agendas.

And another thing I wanted to mention: Sara said the voices told her "this would be the last one" and in the context of the scene and what we knew in that moment, it's safe to assume they meant the last person to die in town. But with the knowledge we have today, I wonder if they meant "the last child for the ritual".

- I loved the scene of Elgin, Fatima and Ellis in the van! It looked like it was taken in one shot and I felt like I was another character in the van with them and it felt like a video game!

- Ellis and Fatima are Adam and Eve in this story. Knew it since the naked painting of them on their bedroom wall! Except that painting DOES NOT look like an Ellis painting... It looks like a child's painting... As in Victor's painting 👀. Ellis is Adam, Fatima is Eve, Victor is a prophet.

- If Smiley is still lying there by morning... They can like... Cut him open and try to figure out these monsters a little bit better. But what if he's actually alive and his body is just "installing" upgrades... What if he becomes Super Smiley? That would be terrifying

Fatima is so sweet 😭 She has every right to hate Elgin but instead, she sees that he was manipulated by this place. I really hope he can be trusted moving forward.
