"She seems to like you." The man said with a small smile as he watched the kitten dart to the woman.
She let out a genuine laughter as she catches the cat on her lap and pets her, nodding at the male's words without taking her eyes off the feline. "Yeah.. I know."

“…Why wouldn’t I care?” Elidyr frowned, this wasn’t fair in his eyes. He had been attracted to the other at first for the magical component but this was… different now. Didn’t the other see that? “I thought we were friends, why would you be my friend if you thought I am not sincere?” He shook his head “I am not a vain man, or someone that thinks he is very skilled but I do know I am a kind and honest man.”
The honest truth sat hanging heavy in the air and the old bot sighed to himself. Perhaps he was past the point of no return regarding “showing his sensitivity” to people. Besides, the man had said the truth clear as day. Why would Inguk have become friends with the other if he hadn’t thought of him as sincere? He needed to shake off these preconceived notions of the world-- even more than he already had. ‘Why wouldn’t I care’ just carried that same wholehearted tone and it nearly shook Inguk to the metal spine. “You’re right. I’m just.. not in my right mind at the moment. You are incredibly sweet and sincere.” He spoke with a warmness he had yet to show. Inguk reached out to lightly grasp the man’s hand and give a chaste kiss on the back of it. “Thank you.”

"Oh, apologies, are you the steambot that gives classes at the academy?" He asks as he pops his head into your classroom.
The steambot looked up from his stance at the furnace at the sound of someone at the door. He moved his goggles to his forehead, revealing a slightly lighter skin tone where his goggles were and the soot hadn’t touched. He cleared his throat, a puff of steam releasing from his mouth. “I dunno’, what d’ya think?” He chuckled, swiping his glove on his pants, though it didn’t make much of a difference in cleanliness, then approached the other and held it out for a handshake. “Just kidding. ‘Name’s Inguk, what can I do for ya’?”

Elidyr smiled as he spotted the man, not sure but assuming he was new. "Good morning-" he greeted as he passed him
Hands in his pocket, Wheesung was honestly just exploring the new village he’d moved into, getting familiar with the area, when he was randomly greeted. That was a pleasant surprise. “Good morning to you, too,” he returned with a friendly smile.

The sudden confessionfrom Elidyr felt as if someone had thrown a bucket full of ice water over him.Not that he was disgusted with that idea, no he rather the opposite. It wasjust simply something he never expected. After all, who would ever like him? Itwas already rare to have friends, but anything more? Which was exactly what hadhim confused right now. An inner tumult, or storm even, was going on. He was so glad, happy, relieved that he couldcall Elidyr his friend, that any emotion beyond that seemed surreal. “You,what?” was his first reaction. He was confused, the whole confession wasmessing him up. It gave options, possibilities he had never thought possible. “I-Idon’t know what to say! I don’t even know what to feel right now,” he said, panic almost taking over. It was love they were talking about. Love. That wassupposed to be something he understood, that he knew, that he could work with.Yet it now seemed as if there was nothing. “But-but you’re my friend,” he said,as if that was the explanation for everything. But even he knew that the wordfriend wasn’t completely covering how he really felt. “You-you can’t just dropthis on me! No one loves me, no one even likes me. How can you? Wi-ith allthose great people around,” he said. Confusion, panic, sadness, disbelievetaking the overhand. “You shouldn’t lie to me like that. Not when you mean somuch to me,” he eventually said before turning around and running off, notbeing able to handle it anymore.

It was several hourslater that Jackson was sitting somewhere on the roof and replying every littledetail again in his mind. As if it was a little movie replying over and overagain. The more he thought about it, the worse he felt. Though a part of himwas also blooming with hope. It was weird, all the thoughts. He didn’t want, ormaybe dared, to believe that the confession was real. No one loved him, let alonesomeone like Elidyr who he held in such high regard. But on the other hand hecouldn’t imagine the male actually lying to him like that. It was as if his owninner compass just completely broke down and failed him. But no matter howhorrible his inner tumult was, he shouldn’t have replied like that. The otherbasically confessed to him, and he just yelled in his face that it was a lie.Basically only said that Elidyr was a friend to him. It made him feel reallybad about himself, his behaviour, everything. He had seen it so many times andgotten angry as a cupid on the job. Yet here he was, being horrible himself. Sodragging himself out of his self-destructing thoughts, and went to do somethinginstead. He needed a plan, something so he could make it better. But first, heshould probably apologise, calm the other down, hoping he wouldn’t do anythingstupid. He got out his phone and send a few texts to the male. That he wassorry, that he needed some time to think about it, that he would always carefor him, and that he would get back to him about it. It wasn’t nearly enough, but he hoped it was enough to calm him down.
Comfort Me: I’ll write a drabble about my charactercomforting yours- vise versa.
Jackson took in a deepbreath, a really deep breath in order to calm down his nerves. He was standingin front of Elidyr’s home, holding something in his arms. A token of piece, while he prayed the other male would even want to talk to him. He hadn’texactly heard back from him, which Elidyr had every right not to. Jackson hurthis feelings, probably rather badly. He was angry at himself and he wanted to tryeverything to make it a bit better. Eventually he raised his hands and knocked, feeling a little weight dropping from his shoulders as he was at least let in. “F-firstof all I’m really, really sorry for the way I reacted. I should’ve neverreacted like that. You did nothing wrong and I acted like a nightmare. So I’msorry, I really am. And I got this for you,” he said, handing the thing he hadin his arms. It was a photobook, the one where there was space for fourpictures to be placed on each page. A place for a picture of every animal he rescued,a reminder of how big Elidyr’s heart was. Something he probably didn’t deserve.“I-I also want to ask you to-to give me some time to process it. No one everloved me and I just don’t know what to do with it.. L-like I said I can’t feelthat, I don’t understand how I can’t feel it, how I can’t know. It is allconfusing and with all the emotions radiating from everywhere it is so difficultto know what I feel myself. Please believe me that I care about you, a lot. Youmean a lot to me, and you did absolutely nothing wrong, so don’t ever get madat yourself,” he all said it in one go, too afraid to stop, hesitate and getscared. “I want to hang out with you, I want to figure this out. Only if youwant that too of course,”

"Oh, hey sorry-" he plucked a small bird from the air that was almost getting stuck in the girl's hair. "he is not very smart... he thought your hair was a flower, sorry-"
She blinked a few times, confused, as she noticed the stranger reached for something near her head. She smiled when she saw the bird in his hands and shook her head. “it’s alright, is he yours?”
