Well, since we're talking about the Nymeras I wanna join by saying that I love the sibling bond between Khyrri and MC, especially how they bicker ridiculously on some routes lol so if you have some more info to share about them while growing up, or how they were before the events of the game etc. That would be awesome haha I mostly wonder, did they grow up together at some point or was Khyrri already considered grown by the time MC was around? If so, how was he with the baby/toddler MC?

No, Khyrri is quite a lot older than Wil and was already considered grown by the time Wil was born. When talking about Veleians if I say someone was considered young at a specific time, bear in mind it doesn't mean child. Kav was considered quite young when he started his school but he was an adult in the same way that a 20 year is adult. Adult yes, but also young. And Khyrri is older than him.

So Khyrri has several centuries on Wil. They were never children at the same time. And they didn't meet until Wil was adult - Wil had never met another Veleian other than their mother and grandfather when they left Laertes.

Khyrri met his sibling before Wil went to Veleia for the first time but Wil did not know that was their brother and didn't even realise he was a Veleian so when they met him on Veleia for the first time they were kind of...annoyed. And that set the tone for their relationship. He's always been the teasing older brother and Wil has always been the exasperated younger sibling. In some ways Khyrri is very adept and clever but his relationship with his heritage is very different. Khyrri doesn't give a shit about people's opinions and never has. He applies himself when and where he wants and if someone doesn't like...too bad for them. He's quite good at a lot of things when he wants to be and that has always helped him win people over because he can be quite reliable.

But ultimately he doesn't care and he will do what he wants.

Wil on the other hand has always been curious but hesitant because of how they were brought up. Their grandfather did not have a high opinion of Veleia or the 'psion' faction and neither did Wil's mother. Wil's hang ups about Veleians always made them hold back which is why they had a reputation as being kind of incompetent primarily due to not trying hard enough (except that they are genuinely bad at the Paths.) Their mother had died by the time they met Elion and they really wanted a good relationship with him. It was hard because Khyrri being the way he is meant that Elion put a lot on Wil. Like...maybe Wil would be the child who behaved like a Nymera. Maybe Wil would be the child who understood him and that he could understand and bond with. Maybe Wil would be the child that proved he wasn't a terrible father...

But none of that panned out.

And that made the situation shitty for both of them because Wil kept trying to be that perfect child and Elion struggled to accept that they were just...themselves.

There was tension between Khyrri and Wil because Khyrri kept encouraging Wil to do what they wanted and to not care and they...couldn't break away from trying to somehow be what their father wanted. But the siblings had moments of closeness and being normal siblings - especially after Wil finally left Veleia and kind of accepted "I'm not that."

But then...Wil got put in the, as the Discord server calls it, 'abstinence microwave.' And the rest is as you see in the game.
