Elia didn't feel like a Gryffindor at all. It didn't count how many duels he fought, how many times he had to defend Martino, how many trouble he had been for saving his friends... He thought the hat had failed with him, several times in the past 6 years that thought passed by and didn't really go away.
He wasn't brave like Giovanni, who fought bravery against that Troll in the fourth year or Martino, who come out kissing Nico in the hallways, risking of being expelled when the principal was a homophobe shit. Even Luca was braver than him, defending Silvia and the girls from Incanti's brothers that night at the black lake.
But more of them all, Elia was not brave like Filippo, who had been always proudly himself, laughing at everyone who trying said something cruel at him. He would like to be brave like Filippo, like Martino, Giovanni, Luca, Niccolò. Even Sana, a Syltherin, was more brave than him.
One day, when he had a lot of Butterbear he said to Filippo that he didn't feel brave enough.
He didn't see Filippo angry like that day, who scoled him immediatly.
— Don't you dare same some stupid shit like that again, Santini. You are a true Gryffindor, kind, smart, brave, loyal. Bravery comes in different forms, you understimated yourself a lot—
Elia heart pounded and he smiled.
— Thank you Filo— he said but he would said to him "I loved you in forever and I can't even said out loud".
He said that to Giovanni, a few days later.
— Zì, I knew you love Filo. And I think he loves you to. You should tell him—
Elia shooked his head. It wasn't possibile.
— If you don't try, You would never know if I'm right. And I'm a certificate love wizard, so I'm always right —
— Making a decent Amortentia doesn't make you a love wizard — Elia said, laughing— and Marti and Nico doesn't count as a prove. They are two destined polipetti, it was fate—
Giovanni smiled.
— Do you think love is only fate? — Gio asked him
— No, it's also bravery —
— And knowing when surrender and stop fight. It's trust, patience, perseverance. It's not only bravery, that you had Santini I know how you fight for us, its more —
— It's different with him, he so corageous. He is too much for more –
— You have to make up you mind and I'm sure you will. Take time but don't wasted it—
He took his time. He talked again with Gio, and then with Marti, Nico, Luca and Sana. He learned and understand the way his friends saw him and the way they saw him and Filo. He still didn't think he was enough for the blonde boy, but at least he wanted to try. They had one last year togheter: if their friends were right, it will be the best year of his hogwart's life and if he was right, it was only a year of misery.
The last quidditch match of the year had just finished, Gryffindor had won thanks to Filippo and Federica and they were going in the common room to celebrate. Filippo was walking alone in the hallways and Elia had just finished talking to Sana about their last exam. Sana looked at Elia and Elia nods: he had to took his chance.
— Filo, I have to tell you something — he said, voice firm.
— Elì, hi! Do you want to congratulate for the winning? You could it even with Sana there, even Slytherin has to learn how to lose —
— No, I mean yes, congratulations for the victory but it's not the only think I have to tell you - Filippo looked confused.
— Then tell me, you are scaring me. Are you all right? Has something happens with the boys—
— No Filo, just let me talk. — Elia breathed heavely — I love you. I always will but I'm not brave and —
And Filippo kissed him, with Elia heart's melting in the first floor hallway.
— I told you, Santini. Don't you ever dare say again that you are not brave — he stroked his cheeks with his fingers, brushing their lips togheter in a soft kiss — I didn't tell you that I loved you since forever because I'm a stupid Gryffindor who is afraid of real emotions. -
— Who told you that?—
— Ele, two years ago. – Filo smiled — I love you Elia and I'm happy we have take the corauge to do this —
— Me too—
They started kissed again, and again, for all the summer and the year later, and the years later that. All Hogwarts remember them kissing: the Gryffindor team searched for his captain everywhere that years, when they didn't see him at the common room for the celebration, finding him in a room with Elia on his lap.
If missing the cup celebrations to kiss his boyfriend wasn't brave, what was then?
Eleonora sighed at the mess on the counter, the espresso machine that hadn’t been cleaned in days. When Eleonora had children of her own, they would certainly learn how to clean up after themselves. Not that Filippo was her child, but it certainly felt that way sometimes.
Setting about cleaning up, Eleonora dumped the dishes in the sink, wiping down the countertop and grimacing at the coffee stains on the tile.
“Oh.” A surprised voice behind her made Eleonora pause, glancing at the doorway to find an awkward-looking Elia wearing only a pair of boxer shorts and a shirt Eleonora knew was one of Filippo’s. “I didn’t think you’d be up.”
Shoving away her surprise at finding Elia in her apartment at nine in the morning, Eleonora shook her head.
“It’s after nine,” she said instead, crossing her arms and leaning back against the counter as Elia lingered in the doorway.
Somehow, she hadn’t expected this--to run into Elia for an awkward morning-after show. She’d known, or well, Filippo had finally told her after weeks of him acting weird and coming home at all hours, that he was fooling around with someone, and that someone was one of Martino’s friends. Eleonora hadn’t needed him to connect the dots.
But fooling around with someone usually didn’t equate to finding that person in their apartment, looking only slightly uncomfortable by the silence as Eleonora gazed at Elia.
Eleonora had never known Elia to be uncomfortable, always loud and brash no matter the situation.
“I’m pretty sure Filo doesn’t get up until at least eleven,” Elia said, trying to joke, moving inside the kitchen finally.
“So you’re sleeping over now?” Eleonora asked as Elia set about trying to figure out the espresso machine. She didn’t offer to help, watching him consider the buttons.
Elia merely shrugged, not meeting her eyes.
“If you’re going to come over, you could at least clean up after yourself,” Eleonora said, gesturing at everything left out from last night. From the looks of it, Filippo had tried (and failed) to cook something. That in itself was strange enough.
Elia’s eyes traveled over the dishes and he bit his lip. “Sorry, last night was--”
“I don’t want to hear the details,” Eleonora interrupted him sharply.
“No, it wasn’t…” Elia seemed to stop himself, and Eleonora frowned, watching Elia press a button on the espresso machine instead of finishing his thought. “I didn’t know you had so many plants. I bet you don’t trust Filo with them.”
Eleonora eyed Elia and his sudden change of subject, but she let him. She’d rather talk about plants than what Elia and Filippo had gotten up to last night.
“Filo can barely take care of himself,” she replied, uncrossing her arms as she watched Elia. She didn’t think she’d really had a whole conversation with the guy before, and she’d definitely never found herself alone with him. It was strange, this quiet, awkward moment as Elia made coffee as though he did it all the time.
“I don’t think that’s true,” Elia said after a minute, muttered to his coffee cup.
“Elia,” Eleonora said, frowning at him, at the way he was unusually quiet despite the fact that it was the two of them talking, two people who probably had absolutely nothing in common except Filippo now--Eleonora had never known Elia to be quiet, and she hadn’t expected this to be any different, despite the awkwardness. She would have expected Elia to make a joke, to say something idiotic to break the ice, but instead, he kept his eyes on the espresso machine. “Where do your parents think you are right now?”
Elia’s eyebrows went up and she saw him swallow.
“I don’t know,” he answered at length. “Probably at Gio’s.”
“Probably?” she repeated, skeptical. He hadn’t even bothered to lie? Even Eleonora knew you gave parents a name before disappearing for the night.
Elia shrugged, leaning back against the counter. “They made it pretty clear they didn’t care where I went as long as it wasn’t there.”
Eleonora opened her mouth, but she had nothing to say, staring at Elia instead. She felt her heart sinking as they stood there, a familiar ache she usually only felt after hanging up the phone with her own mother.
“I’m--” she said, but Elia shook his head.
“It’s fine.”
Eleonora’s eyebrows went up and she heard herself scoff. “It’s not fine.”
It was far from fine, that Elia had to deal with this, that he had such shitty parents.
Elia didn’t reply, rubbing at the back of his neck instead, frowning at the floor, as though he knew she was about to say something about it having nothing to do with him, that it wasn’t his fault.
Biting back all the things she wanted to say about Elia’s parents, about how he was probably better off, she forced herself to turn to the espresso machine and make another cup.
“Does anyone else know?” she asked, glancing sideways at Elia, the way he huffed down at his bare feet.
“It just happened yesterday.”
“Right, sorry,” she said quickly, and Elia looked over at her finally.
“Never thought that would happen.”
“What?”
He almost smiled. “You apologizing to me. I was sure I was going to fuck something up with you and have to apologize at some point.”
Eleonora did smile at that, surprised he had even considered that possibility. Elia had never seemed like the kind of guy to think about consequences. Then again, she didn’t really know him except through Eva. Maybe he wasn’t as much of an immature idiot as she’d supposed.
Sipping her espresso, she ran a hand through her messy hair, watching Elia gaze down the hallway towards Filippo’s bedroom.
“Not all parents are good parents,” she said at length. “My mom is almost never here. It’s been Filo and I for as long as I can remember. Sometimes that’s all you need.”
Elia looked back at her, eyebrows furrowed, as though she’d said something strange.
“You’re not as scary as I thought you were,” he said finally and Eleonora scoffed.
“Thanks, I guess.”
She supposed she should take it as a compliment. She didn’t think she was scary.
The sounds of Filippo shuffling down the hall ended the moment, and Eleonora wasn’t surprised to see Filippo, bleary-eyed and sleep-mussed, appearing in the doorway, yawning widely as he surveyed the scene.
“You didn’t kill each other,” he said, stepping inside and over to Elia. “Good.” He pressed a kiss to Elia’s cheek, a hand cradling his jaw. To his credit, Elia didn’t blush or look embarrassed at the casual intimacy with Eleonora right there. “Is there any coffee left?”
“If you did the shopping once in a while, you might know,” Eleonora said as Filippo reached around Elia for a cup.
“Last time I did, you said it was the wrong kind,” he pointed out. “So I think I’ll leave that to you.”
Rolling her eyes, Eleonora grabbed her cup and headed for the door. “Just clean up when you’re done,” she said, glancing at Elia, who was watching Filippo make his coffee. She opened her mouth to say something else, but in the end, she didn’t, stepping out of the doorway.
She paused around the corner as she heard Filippo speak, voice low.
“You okay?”
“Fine,” Elia replied, and she heard Filippo laugh.
“That’s a complete lie,” he said, “but you will be. In time.”
Eleonora left them alone in the kitchen then, continuing on to her room. Maybe things wouldn’t be so weird with Elia hanging around. After all, it turned out they had more in common than she’d thought.
I am not saying an Elippo one shot where Filippo looks after Elia after the fight and kisses his bruises would make my day better, but an Elippo one shot where Filippo looks after Elia after the fight and kisses his bruises would truly make my day better.
hello can you write about fIlippo who stress martino about his crush with elia? and Elia who heard this one time?
Title: You owe me this, Rose
Ship: Skam Italia | Filippo Sava and Elia Santini (Elippo)
_______________
“So. When are you going to introduce me to him?”
Martino cocked an eyebrow, swallowing his bite of his grilled sandwich. “To who?”
“Your friend. The cute one.”
“Why would I introduce you to Gio? He has a girlfriend, you know. And he’s not gay.”
Out of their group of friend, Gio was the least one possible to have a gay awakening. He was a total girl magnet - not that it meant that he couldn’t be attracted to guys. It’s just, Gio wasn’t gay. He might have made compliments regarding Niccolò when Marti had told him about his crush but, it was innocent.
“Everyone’s sexuality is a little bit fluid, Martino,” Filippo pointed with a little smirk, making the redhead shake his head. “But, I wasn’t talking about Giovanni.”
Now Marti was confused. Was Filippo talking about…Luchino? He shook his head, laughing at the ridiculousness and impossibleness of the situation. No offence toward Luca, but he wasn’t Filippo’s type. He was a bit too immature for Filo - not that Filippo was so mature. According to his sister, he’s a 12 years old child in a 22 years old’s body.
“Elia.”
“Elia?!” Martino repeated, shocked.
Filippo nodded, biting his lip. “That boy is a fucking snack, Marti.”
Sure, Elia had a shitty sense of fashion but he had great lips and he was cute. Filo had seen him at the Christmas party and once at the café, but they haven’t been introduced. After all the advices that he had given Martino, he owed it to his guru to introduce him to his friend.
Martino cringed. “Please don’t talk about my friend like that…”
The older one laughed.
.
Two weeks later, when Martino was at Gio’s with the boys, the redhead posted a story on Snapchat of them and, of course Filo saw. Seconds later, Marti’s phone buzzed with a new message from Filippo.
Filippo: Did you talk to him about me?
Filippo: Elia. I saw him in your story. I know he’s with you so don’t you try fooling me!
Martino: No
Filippo: Why the hell not? What are you waiting for? You owe this to me, Rose!
Martino: We’re playing Fifa, Filo. I can’t show him pictures of you randomly between two match. It’d be weird and…I don’t want Elia to think that we’re trying to play matchmaker with him
Filippo: It won’t. He’ll be amazed by my beauty and will ask for my number 😏👅
Martino: Don’t be so full of yourself
Filippo: Are you jealous of my success with the male genre, Marti?
Martino: Not at all. I’m good with Nico
Martino: But, what if Elia’s not into guys? I’ve always seen him flirt and kiss girls
Filippo: Had you kissed any boys before Nico? No.
Filippo: And, don’t judge a book by its cover. Not all people who like the same genre wears pink and have flashy looks 😉🌈
.
In honor of Nico’s birthday, Marti had organized a small get together party for his boyfriend. It was nothing fancy, just beers, music and a couple of their friends in Martino’s appartement.
Following Marti’s plea to go outside to smoke weed, Elia followed Gio and Lucas down the hallway, joint in hand, a beer in the other, laughing as Luchino almost tripped over his own feet. It would’ve been a great laugh.
Upon seeing the tan skinned brunet, Filippo glanced at Marti who immediately avoided his friend’s eyes, busying himself with the bowl of chips but not eating any.
Filo crossed the distance between them, raising an eyebrows. “I take it you didn’t talk to him about me? Otherwise, he wouldn’t have walked past me without reacting.”
“No! I did, I…he- Okay, I didn’t,” Marti responded with honesty. “I had meant to but I just never got the chance to be alone with Elia over the past weeks.”
The pink haired one shrugged, touching Marti’s arm reassuringly. “It’s okay. You’ll have plenty of time to do it tonight,” he explained, a grin behind his plastic cup of vodka mixed drink.
“What? Why?” Martino sounded annoyed. Filippo was confident enough to introduce himself to a ‘stranger’, why was he insisting that Marti do the introduction? “You’re both at the same party, go introduce yourself.”
“Elia is your friend and, you owe me this. Remember?” Filippo glanced at Nico knowingly and Marti sighed.
“Now I get what Eleonora meant when she said you were annoying and sneaky…”
Despite the remark, Filippo remained unbothered. He was who he was and he was proud of it.
“You have to know your cards to get what you want. And now, what I want is meeting this cutie with a fine ass and perfect pout.”
Martino wrinkled his face. To Marti, Elia was a friend and he’ll never see him as anything more to him so, it felt odd and wrong to hear someone rate Elia’s body. Especially his ass.
Filo rolled his eyes. “What? I know that he’s your friend, but you have to recognize that he has a great ass.”
“Can we please talk about something else?”
“Maybe Elia’s ass wasn’t such a bad subject in the end…”
“Luchino spilled his beer on your balcony, just so you know,” Elia informed the redhead, coming up behind Filippo.
Martino sighed at his friend’s clumsiness and, before he could tell Elia that Luca will have to clean it up, Filippo turned to the new incomer.
“Hi. I’m Filippo. Nice to meet you. Do you wanna bang?”
“H-he’s joking,” Marti covered, choking a laugh, a little embarrassed.
Elia looked uncomfortable but not repulsed. Surprisingly, he extended his hand toward Filippo, an amused grin on his full lips. “Elia. Nice to meet you.”
I’m just saying... When Ele moves to NYC with Edo her room would be availible. The perfect set up for an Elia season (5) where he moves in with Filippo because he can’t live at home anymore. And then they can finally live happily ever after.
Translation: can you please write an Elippo fic based on this picture? The boysquad decide to play this ‘game’ while they’re having dinner, Elia’s phone lights up first and the boys notice it’s a text from Filippo.
