Elite Team Mercenary AU

Medieval AU concept with the elite team (Techno, Wilbur, Philza, Tommy)

Also all the boys love each other in this AU but its in a platonic/brotherly type way, I don’t ship any of them so pls no shipping them in this AU

In this au, only a few people have something called “uniques” (creative name, ik). They can be something as basic as wings or a tail, to something more complex like magic or shapeshifting. 

Also this au uses “Techno” instead of his real name because I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to be referred to as his real name online

Long post because i have a  l o t  of ideas for this AU (more to come)

- Elite team: a well known team of mercenaries in (name) Kingdom  - Everyone knows their names, but Techno is the one almost anyone can recognize without any introduction because of his pink hair and his noble attire (Whenever the others tell people their names, thats whenever they recognize them, with the exception of Tommy because Tommy is a common name unlike the others) - Techno is known for his combat skills, Philza is known for his resourcefulness and also help in battle, Wilbur is known for how charismatic he is, while Tommy... is known for drawing attention (not usually in a good way, but a useful distraction when needed)  - A lot of different groups try to fight them, but none have won (so far) - They live in a secluded mansion, despite there only being four of them, given to them by the king and queen as a thanks for their work (despite it supposed to be hidden, a lot of people still know where it is cause... stalkers) 

Uniques

- All the bois have uniques - Philza has wings - Wilbur can hypnotize people, either through eye contact or music - Wilbur uses this both during missions and to mess with his friends - Tommy is resistant to any curses/mental uniques  - Wilbur was annoyed at first whenever he realized his hypnosis didn’t work on Tommy but it worked on the other two - Tommy’s unique actually has saved them from a couple of deadly situations - Techno has something he calls “blood magic”  - Techno’s blood magic allows him to morph his own blood into whatever he wants (generally a sword) (Beyond the Boundary anyone?) - Someone else’s blood can “charge” him, allowing him to grow stronger with each drop (not too much stronger tho, don’t want him to be too OP)  - Although Techno is already pretty strong without this, he isn’t as strong as a lot of people he’s supposed to go up against. It’s for this reason that people start to go easy on him at the beginning of a fight, only to be cut and allow him to grow stronger (Techno definitely takes advantage of their cockiness)

Some hobby-type stuff - Techno often joins tournaments and wins almost every time (just to flex)  - Philza sometimes joins in, usually resulting in a 1v1 against Techno and Philza. Everyone watching knows it’ll be a good battle, as neither one will throw just to give the other the win - Wilbur often hangs out in taverns with the locals and makes small talk with a lot of them. They usually don’t find out who he actually is - Wilbur also likes to preform on stage whenever he can and is very good at singing and a bunch of different instruments - Tommy... causes a lot of chaos. Both purposeful and accidental.  - The others usually have to bail him out of trouble a lot - Tommy, though, is actually pretty good at scamming people - Comes in handy for certain missions whenever Wilbur’s charisma doesn’t work - Whenever Techno isn’t fighting or sparring, he actually really enjoys reading - Philza is REALLY good at cooking  - Wilbur typically just vibes with his music, the others don’t mind (whenever he isn’t trying to hypnotize them-) - Tommy enjoys the presence of the others and will often sit with them if they’re not in their rooms Extra personality stuff

- Philza is the dad of the group, always making sure everyone is taken care of and doing well - Techno is secretly protective of all of them, despite how much he teases and bullies all of them - Wilbur will sometimes sing the others to sleep on their rough nights - Tommy is actually a really good listener whenever someone needs to talk through their problems - Whenever Wilbur hypnotizes Techno and Philza, both him and Tommy mess around with them and make fun of them whenever they come back to reality - Tommy is actually a lot better at fighting then people realize, he just doesn’t do it often and leaves all of that to Techno (and Phil) - They all like to spar with each other a lot - Since Tommy looks up to Techno a lot (like, a LOT) (not in a ship type way tho, pls no), he usually gets nervous and a bit shaky whenever they spar, making Techno think hes worse at fighting than he actually is - Wilbur and Tommy argue a lot, and since Wilbur can’t hypnotize him to shut up, it can get really loud  - Whenever they get too loud, Phil just flies away whenever they don’t listen to him - If it gets TOO much, Techno will stop them and both boys will listen (then Phil returns)  - They usually end on good terms though, rarely getting actually mad at the other

More extras :D

- Since Techno is really the only one that gets recognized immediately, the others can usually go out in public without much trouble - They will start conversation with commoners and have a wonderful talk, until one of the other members comes over and calls them by their name (they all love the expression people give whenever they hear the name and realize they were talking to an Elite Team member) - The best reaction they get is whenever Techno is the one asking for them, as whenever he walks anywhere, everyone is turning their head and mumbling his name (the others like to wait until whoever they were talking to says something about Techno, then they walk up to him casually, glancing back to see their expression) - They actually mess around a lot with this, and all of them love it - Techno and Tommy both get nightmares a lot because of their uniques - Most of the time they’ll leave their room to chill in the living room or on the balcony - If they both have a nightmare on the same night, they’ll just stay near each other and usually don’t talk (also the only time Tommy isn’t trying to impress Techno) - Sometimes whenever they’re both on the couch, they’ll both fall asleep next to each other (sometimes with one on the other) (Whenever Wilbur and Philza wake up the next morning, Wilbur wants to prank them but Philza stops him and lets them sleep, putting a blanket over the two) - If Tommy has a REALLY bad nightmare and Techno isn’t awake, he’ll wake him up and sit with him until he calms down - Techno doesn’t mind and doesn’t push him to talk about it (because he knows how bad they can get)

Just some more on the boy’s personalities and interactions with each other

- The Elite Team work for the king (king = jschlatt maybe??) a lot, so they have a good relationship with him

- The king decided to give Techno one of his old robes as a joke, as well as his own custom crown (made from rose gold) - The king offered the rest of the team royal attire, but they kindly declined

- Techno actually has bad social anxiety (just like real life) and hates talking to new people when it isn’t about business

- The reason he wears the royal robe and crown in public is so people don’t talk to him, as they’re usually too intimidated by him whenever he's in the royal clothes

- He hates the stares, but he’d rather deal with the stares then people running up to him and trying to talk to him, which is what happens whenever he doesn’t wear the royal garments - Whenever one of the others is with him and a commoner runs up to try and talk to him, the other will take over conversation because they all know about his social anxiety and don’t want to put him through that if they don’t have to

- Whenever the group just wants to go out for a nice evening or whatever, he has to wear a hat/hood to hide his hair, seeing as that's the main thing people recognize him for  (as well as the pink eyes)

- Whenever Techno “absorbs” blood and gains strength, his eyes glow red momentarily, and his normally pink eyes slowly shift to a deep red color with each drop of blood absorbed

- Wilbur actually starts a lot of chaos whenever he uses his hypnosis unique, because usually whenever the person comes back to reality, they know what he did to them and might want to start fighting

- He actually angers almost the same amount of people Tommy does, it's just that Wilbur is quicker and better at getting away than Tommy is

- All the others are pretty protective over Tommy, even though he can actually hold his own pretty well 

- Sometimes he uses it to his advantage, but it usually just annoys him

(“I can protect myself!”) - For the amount of people Tommy annoys, he has a surprisingly large group of friends that put up with him - Thing is… they’re all little chaos starters, so whenever the group is together… chaos ensues - Phil is usually just vibin, honestly - He’s always checking on the others and making sure they’re alright, even whenever they aren’t doing a mission (“Yeah, I’m fine, thanks dad”) - He really likes gardening, flying around, exploring, and just nature in general (The others tease him and call him a fairy… but only they can get away with that nickname) - Phil likes to imagine his own creations and worlds, and while they may never come to life, he doesn’t mind and enjoys imagining them - They like to argue who the second best cook is, because they all agree Phil is the best cook

-Phil’s wings are actually pretty warm and soft whenever you’re wrapped in them, and it’s for this reason that he gives the best hugs

(Whenever the others just want a hug they immediately go to Phil, and Phil gladly hugs them and wraps them in his wings)

-Phil’s wings are actually PRETTY BIG, so he can wrap his wings around all of them in a group hug 

(“How do you even sleep with those?” “I dunno, guess I’m just used to them”) 

-Phil gives off positive vibes most of the time, but still gives off chaotic vibes from time to time - Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy all give off chaotic vibes most of the time, but they’re all different types of chaos - Techno gives off murderous chaotic vibes - Tommy gives off gremlin chaotic vibes - Wilbur gives off chaotic chaotic vibes (makes sense, right?)

- All of them have a violent streak at times, usually coming out whenever the others are badly hurt or in danger - While a lot of people think they’ve seen Techno’s violent streak, they actually haven’t, he just acts like that because it's fun. The other three have seen him ACTUALLY mad, and he is… terrifying - The others have terrifying violent streaks as well, and surprisingly Tommy is actually scary when he's on his
